CAIRO, Egypt — Al Qaeda's deputy leader Ayman al-Zawahiri issued a new videotape Saturday along with a man identified as an American member of the terror network, inviting Americans to convert to Islam.
The 41-minute video, posted on an Islamic militant Web site nine days before the fifth anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks, had footage of al-Zawahri and a man the video identified as Adam Yehiye Gadahn, an American who the FBI believes attended Al Qaeda training camps in Pakistan and served as an Al Qaeda translator.
Gadahn and al-Zawahiri did not appear together in the footage but were each featured on a split screen. Both wore white turbans and robes.
I agree that they'll just stay mum if Bush does well, but the problem is that they were right on Spain - terrorism did work, because nobody thought Zapatero and the Socialists had any chance of winning - until the day after March 11. In this case, it wasn't AQ that capitalized on the attack, however, but the Spanish left, which succesfully "blamed" Aznar for it. The same thing would happen in the US this time around with any new terrorist attack.

So true, livius. You know the LLL's are just salivating at the thought of an attack here in the US before the election. It amazes me that the Dems aren't ashamed to hear Zawahiri and his ilk parroting their talking points. Somebody needs to shame them and QUICK. How can they hold their heads up after hearing this? It just boggles the mind...
Actually, we should all convert to Islam. Once we do and their is peace, we do what other muslims do and round up the top leaders and everyone else of Al Qaeda and kill them. We cut of their heads and video tape it and bury them in pig's blood. once done, we convert back. Problem solved

The leftists would be very, very happy for an attack and are doing everything to set the stage for one - or, if that fails, for the assassination of Bush, at which point they would do everything possible to prevent the legitimate succession of Cheney.

Analysts on both msnbc and fnc are saying that Zawahari are saying the same things that Kerry, Dean et al are saying. WOW! This should really help the dems retake the house and senate in November. Zawahari parrots the DNC talking points! DOesn't suprise most of us here, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the headlines of the DNC will NOT read: AQ and DNC in same camp.
Gadahn aka EOM on the Jihadi boards had advanced knowledge of the 9/11 attacks and issued a taunt on the MSNBC politics board the night before the attacks.
Gadahn will eventually be captured or killed in Pakistan and will be not be sent to the U.S. because of his involvement in the 9/11 attacks as well as his involvement in the planning of subsequent operations, including the UK bomb plot that was foiled.
He will get the Khalid Sheik Mohommad treatment if he is captured instead of killed.
I hope he suffers.
