Welcome to the FReeper Canteen! We're honored to have you with us for another weekend of fun, music, and amusement. We hope that you enjoy the selections provided at the top of the thread and throughout the entire thread. If you love our military, currently or served in the past, we hope you feel comfortable. Thank you for your service to our country. To our allies, thank you for all you do by standing with us!!

How this works!

1. Selections are provided for the enjoyment of our Troops, Veterans, Allies, and their family members. They're priority numero uno! Got it?

2. You can request music via the thread by pinging laurenmarlowe. She does this for free because she doesn't know any better. However, please be patient and treat her well and she'll load up your request for our Troops. Thanks!

3. If you are just a lurker and not a member of FR, you are welcome to send us requests via email at musicrequests4u@gmail.com . Please put *Music Request* in the subject line. If we don't get back to you right away, please don't fret. We'll get there. These threads tend to fly! If you're a FReeper, ping laurenmarlowe or do it via FReepmail. Please help us free up the email for lurkers!

4. Not all music will be appropriate for kids. We welcome families to enjoy the music, but the ULTIMATE RESPONSIBILITY lies with you and not us. If you click on something and are offended, that's on you. We try to provide ample warning, but it's your mouse and decision.

5. Want to tick us off quickly? Hotlink our music! That is an absolute no-no! This is provided free of charge to our Troops, Veterans, Allies, and their families. Hotlinking takes bandwidth that could be given to them.

Cpl. Adam T. Williams, a 24-year-old motor transport operator from Mexico, Mo., hands out bottled water to the neighborhood kids of Husayba, Iraq during Operation Rubicon, Aug. 25. Williams and other Marines, U.S. Army and a sailor assigned to K Company, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment were on a combat mission when they stopped to give the refreshments to the kids.
