That works with blenders too. Pour a little warm water with dish soap and run on low for a few seconds.

Is that a chocolate cake [better than sex cake]? If it is, it is Aunt Dorothy's favorite. She had it published in a family cook book. Wonder if I can find it?

It's a wierd conconction, I'd never heard it done that way. Slice the baloney into cubes; saute a few onions in olive oil or butter, then add the baloney with some KETCHUP(!) and a little water... it makes a gravy of sorts - it's all to your own taste anyway. I usually add just a smidge of prepared mustard too. Ladle it onto hoagie rolls. That's really it... It does have an interesting taste but I pick out the onions if I eat any.

Neither term means anything to me. We do not use this terminology.
It is a fruit cake or cherry cake or coconut cake etc not white and yellow.

OK, I see it, kind of like my friends and I when we were very poor, taking 99 cent a pound chip chopped ham and adding onions and BBQ sauce. I get it. :)

I was thinking that hers was more of a spice cake base...but it's been years since I had it...I'm willing to try several anyway. I love new recipes. I would go through these weeks of something new every night when the kids were home, I'd get tired of fixing the same old things...it was so funny, the kids would laugh and say oh goodie mom's in one of her moods...

It doesn't do much for me, but Mr.FF loves it. If I want something I make it.

Average to good I would say but experienced with Yorkshire pudding so the cornbread fat technique was a familiar one.

When you say hamburger do you mean minced (ground) beef ? Or is that a particular type of mince?

Hamburger is a low cut with a lot of fat in it, it works. Ground beef has less fat. At least that is what I think the difference is. Either will work.
