I am proudly endorsing Tom Gallagher for Governor of Florida. In a day when moral standards are up for grabs, Tom will be a champion for the family. He will work to provide genuine school choice for every Florida child, and he understands that the courts must be reigned in.

Which is really what he is all about.. NOT POLITICS !! Did you post that with a straight face?
James Dobson is as much a political figure as Jesse Jackson.

There are five days left. Whatever will be will be if you know what I mean. If Florida isn't a red state any more, I would put half the blame on Karl Rove and the other half on dreadful republicans in Tallahassee in the legislature who make all GOP up there look bad and they're not.

In a general you would be correct, not in a primary though.
The primary is all about the "hard core".
Sad but True.

Good evening. I hope you are well.
I will vote for Tom Gallagher even if Dr. Dobson endorsed Crist.
Speaking of Crist, if he wins, the First lady and I will support him, and hopefully Katherine Harris too.

Yeah, Dr. Dobson is really going to decide this race...that is insane!!! Have you seen the last two polls to come out.
Strategic Vision poll
Below are the poll results based on telephone interviews with 1200 likely voters in Florida, aged 18+, and conducted August 25-27, 2006. The margin of sampling error is ±3 percentage points.
Charlie Crist 52%
Tom Gallagher 36%
Undecided 12%
Quinnipiac University poll
Crist 57%
Gallagher 32%
Undecided 11%
In the same poll of people who called themselves born again or evangelicals:
Crist - 53%
Gallagher - 38%
Sorry folks, this one is over.

I agree that he is respected as a political figure, he just calls it the way he sees it.. his ministry is what he is all about.. NOT POLITICS..... His ministry is about influencing political figures to his way of thinking.
And Dobson does not "call it the way he sees it." If Vegas made book on Dobson's endorsements, we'd all be rich, as we can all predict who he will support.

I like Gallagher, but can't vote in Florida. (of course I know how to vote unlike some residents there, I just am not a citizen of Florida! :-) )

I agree that he is respected as a political figure, he just calls it the way he sees it.. his ministry is what he is all about.. NOT POLITICS.....He's a American citizen and voter too. He has his interests, and they're not all religious. It's no different than Ned Lament getting endorsements from the pro-abort crowd, who align themselves with the anti-war movement.

What do you mean "the polls aren't logging those?" This poll is from 3 days ago...geez, are you in denial?? The polls might be off a few points, but Gallagher is down over 25 points....this one is over.
