Question re Free republic archives (Vanity)

Question. Is it possible to search Free republic archives on post date? I know you can search for keywords, listing in post date, but can you search and get everything actually posted on a particular date?

Go to google, type in site:freerepublic.com and the date (ex: 08/30/06) If you want to refine it further, add in a word in the post you're looking for (a username works.)

When you go to google look for the "advanced search" feature, that's what kingu is refering to.

On the main page of google, you can type site:(any domain), such as site:freerepublic.com without having to go to the advanced page.

You'll have more success and an unfiltered response if you do an exact phrase search of "On 08/30/2005" with Yahoo! for site:freerepublic.com .

See the number at the end of the line? Change it (take a wild guess).

Now work from there to find the date you want.
