Zogby Interactive poll. Worthless.
To: meandog
Stumblin?
Translation:
Allen does not have the media in his back pocket like your beloved RINO McCain.

Allen was winning by 5% over Webb in a Rassmussen poll just a week ago. Jeeze!

Losing that seat would be disastrous.

Rasmussen has Allen winning by just 5% over Webb. He's losing a bit of ground here.

"Better translation: Allen is a big disappointment just like your former governor is (DUH-bee-yuh)!" At least you are being as consistent as your hero McCain, which is to bash fellow Conservatives, in the hopes of making yourself look better.
Nice try though, but I'm on to your kind.

If Allen can get those numbers back up and win he will go a long way toward making people think he deserves to be the 2008 nominee. If he loses, he's done, and the field is open.
McCain and Giuliani are in the lead right now, and I don't see anyone stealing those leads from them, but there is a HUGE opportunity for a conservative to take it from both of them. If not Allen, who?
To: zarf
I wouldn't want Allen for president too, but I think he'll easily win his senate seat again. Despite the blood-in-water the liberals smell, they'll be disappointed.

Allen was winning by 5% over Webb in a Rassmussen poll just a week ago. Jeeze! Which is within the margin of this poll. But otherwise you're comparing apples and oranges.

Personally I think Allen will win. But not by much. Webb is gaining ground. Unless Webb does something stupid it will be a squeaker for Allen.
