FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT
Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allies military and the family members of the above.
Honoring those who have served before.

ArmyPatch small   NavySeal small   Air Force Seal   Marines Seal small   Coast Guard Seal small (better)

It is the Soldier, not the minister
Who has given us freedom of religion.

It is the Soldier, not the reporter
Who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the Soldier, not the poet
Who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer
Who has given us freedom to protest.

It is the Soldier, not the lawyer
Who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the Soldier, not the politician
Who has given us the right to vote.

It is the Soldier who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,

And whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.

-  Charles Michael Province, U.S. Army

Thank you to all the heroes out there in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard who ensure that the freedoms we enjoy today will continue to future generations.  You are not forgotten.

A sailor from the weapons department of the carrier Kitty Hawk fires a .50-caliber Browning machine gun at a floating target during a gunnery exercise on board the ship in the western Pacific Ocean on Tuesday.

Just another Sailor, at the office.

A plane captain from Carrier Air Wing 5 inpsects rivets on the wing of an F/A-18 Hornet before flight operations on the flight deck of the carrier Kitty Hawk in the western Pacific Ocean on Thursday.

Just a plain old captain, out of the office, doiging a regular inpsection.

Capt. Colin Fleming of Burnsville, Minn., 40 (right), of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, Minnesota National Guard, talks with Sheik Chiad Hamood Al-Guam in the southern Iraqi village of Abu Tubar about reconstruction needs on Tuesday. In the relative quiet of southern Iraq, soldiers wiht the unit are moving forward with a year-long $15 million reconstruction effort to bring water to the parched region.

A shooting site in Mongolia is definitely what I would call "Up and Down Range!"

Alaska National Guardsmen Pvt. Jimmy Bates (left) and Sgt. Brenda Lutz of Anchorage, Alaska, climb to the top of a mountain overlooking Five Hills Training Center near Ulaanbataar, Mongolia, during the United Nations peacekeeping exercise called Khaan Quest 2006 earlier this month.
