FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allies military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.
It is the Soldier, not the minister Who has given us freedom of religion. It is the Soldier, not the reporter Who has given us freedom of the press. It is the Soldier, not the poet Who has given us freedom of speech. It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer Who has given us freedom to protest. It is the Soldier, not the lawyer Who has given us the right to a fair trial. It is the Soldier, not the politician Who has given us the right to vote. It is the Soldier who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag, Who allows the protester to burn the flag.
- Charles Michael Province, U.S. Army Thank you to all the heroes out there in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard who ensure that the freedoms we enjoy today will continue to future generations. You are not forgotten.

Hubby hugged and saluted. Son is already in bed, so I will thank him for you tomorrow when I see him. We are visiting him and his wife in Florida. :D
Thank you for keeping us in your prayers. It is always appreciated.

Any rights we possess we possess by virtue of our humanity. They are inherent in what we are. Many will aver that our fundamental human rights are gifts to us from our Creator.
The soldier, however, in this fallen world is the guarantor of our inherent rights against the depredations of tyrants who would deny us the freedom to practice and express and enjoy our rights. The existence of our basic human rights cannot be denied, but all too often the liberty to practice those rights is taken by force or deception. It then falls to the soldier to defeat the tyrannical predator and restore liberty and the opportunity to enjoy those inherent rights. For this we owe the soldier and his kind gratitude beyond our ability fully to express.
But let us now be confused regarding the source of our human rights. No human being invented or created or gave to us our rights.

Enjoy this....
Just a few moments after I posted that silly thing...
The former 2LT walked in on me unexpectedly.
We are planning a party.......
Certain lurkers are going to be less surprised at a few coming events thanks to this post.
If you are in the greater Boston area during the next 10 days or so, and are in need for a bite of a bit of non kosher meat, ....
Freep mail me for directions to the bash.
