FReeper Canteen ~ It's The Soldier ~ August 28, 2006

FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT
Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allies military and the family members of the above.
Honoring those who have served before.

ArmyPatch small   NavySeal small   Air Force Seal   Marines Seal small   Coast Guard Seal small (better)

It is the Soldier, not the minister
Who has given us freedom of religion.

It is the Soldier, not the reporter
Who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the Soldier, not the poet
Who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer
Who has given us freedom to protest.

It is the Soldier, not the lawyer
Who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the Soldier, not the politician
Who has given us the right to vote.

It is the Soldier who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,

And whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.

-  Charles Michael Province, U.S. Army

Thank you to all the heroes out there in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard who ensure that the freedoms we enjoy today will continue to future generations.  You are not forgotten.

Thank you and noticed you picked the best; the good ol USAF Band. Of course, while all Military Bands are outstanding, I'm a little biased to all things AF

Bless you.

Easy to remember your name Lady Luv.

All women are "ladies,"--unless they prove otherwise--and I "luv" them all, being that I'm a 62 year old DOM--and as Red Foxx used to say: (paraphrasing) "That's right, I'm a dirty old man and I'm going to continue to be a dirty old man, till I'm a dead ol man." lol

Knew there was something special about you.

Give hubby a hug for me and a salute from a former fly boy and give your son my special thanks, respect and appreciation.

Sounds like a wonderful family and I'm happy for you and will add you to my prayer list.

Know that sounds strange my being a DOM and all, but we can "believe," pray and still "live a little."

I hope. Hey, that's what they invented confession for. lol

Dang Radix. From laughing ("Army Game Boy...It's not just for kids!") to crying ("Capt. Shelia Jenkins comforts her daughter Khadyajah, 7, while holding the hand of her husband, Chief Warrant Officer Claude Jenkins, one of about 250 paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division Sustainment Brigade, as he departs Fort Bragg, N.C., for a deployment to Iraq on Wednesday.") in a matter of seconds.
