Altho this was apparently done under duress, I was disturbed by their words after they were released that their main concern was that the "wonderful story" of the people of Gaza would not get told if journalists were in danger.

Time for a Koran burning?
To: brytlea
remember, they were still in Gaza. also, i am a little concerned that the camerman is married to a BBC reporter and we all know the bias of the BBC against Israel.

Oh, I didn't realize they were still in Gaza when they were being interviewed. I was up later than usual this morning and my husband is watching a car race, so I had to catch a minute of it on TV. For some reason I seem to remember Mr. Centani being rather sympathetic in his newscasts (perhaps my bad memory, maybe I'm thinking of someone else) and then when I heard that, I was really disturbed. But thanks for the info.
Call me cynical about journalists in general....

Several thoughts come to mind.
One, were they brainwashed during their captivity.
Two, this was given under duress and they did it to save their lives.
Three, could be suffering from 'hostage syndrome.'
Four, they will need to be counseled and deprogrammed.

Utterly disgusting. Islam needs to be exterminated. FK them, mohammed, and Allah. Pagan murderous moon cult of death.

On another thread I opined how I'm repelled by Olaf (and some Fox reporters and reporterettes) ranting how "vital" it is for the "story" of the poor Palestinians to "get out".
What's so vital to get out.....what animals these terrorist and kidnappers and their supporters are?
We already know that, Olaf.
In WW2 were American reporters sent into to Germany so that the "story" of the poor Nazis could "get out"?
Some of these reporters sure have a high opinion of themselves and their precious value to the survival of the world.

"Muslims are good people."
He must have really choked on that one.

Oh, but wait, this war isn't about religion remember?
Nooooooooo! It's about Israel occupying Arab territories, right?
Sure, yeah s-u-r-e.
It has nothing to do with Islam. Nothing at all. Uh-huh.
Yeah.

I think it's hilarious. It shows just how deranged our enemy is, and it shows exactly what the source of our enemy's derangement is.

My question is how did Steve keep a straight face while reading that crap? It must have been difficult.

Wow! Unbelievable! I had to double check the source! I thought I was on the scrappleface site! Let's just hope that Steve & Olaf would do anything, since they were under duress. If not and it's true, so much for objective reporting from them in the future.

These fellows are now Mohammedans and subject to being killed if they now renounce their new "faith." Sincerity has nothing to do with whether or not a True Conversion has taken place. Recitation of the formula is all that is required. It is a capital offence to quit Islam.

In WW2 were American reporters sent into to Germany so that the "story" of the poor Nazis could "get out"?Goebbels would have relished their presence. I could envision Shepaz al Smith doing a live report... with Gestapo Mueller standing behind him. The sound of running water... would be little Shep's own urine flowing on the pavement.
