How this works!

1. Selections are provided for the enjoyment of our Troops, Veterans, Allies, and their family members. They're priority numero uno! Got it?

2. You can request music via the thread by pinging laurenmarlowe.

3. If you are just a lurker and not a member of FR, you are welcome to send us requests via email at musicrequests4u@gmail.com . Please put *Music Request* in the subject line. If we don't get back to you right away, please don't fret. We'll get there. These threads tend to fly! If you're a FReeper, ping laurenmarlowe or do it via FReepmail. Please help us free up the email for lurkers!

4. Not all music will be appropriate for kids. We welcome families to enjoy the music, but the ULTIMATE RESPONSIBILITY lies with you and not us. If you click on something and are offended, that's on you. We try to provide ample warning, but it's your mouse and decision.

That is a great rendition ~ Keith Jarrett played it respectfully and with love.

I have a couple of albums with the tune on them and I can't remember who the artists were. When you reach 75, it seems there are times when you can't CRS. >:-}

I think one recording had a vocal along with trumpet and he covered Clifford pretty well ~ Jack Sheldon's name is there for some reason; maybe it's a senior moment.

When Kathy sent me the links, she said that you played drums; good for you. I played at playing the trumpet, I just didn't have the chops for it and I couldn't play like Dizzy, so, I became an avid Jazz buff.

Instructions for properly hugging a baby

1. First, spy a baby

2. Second, be sure that the object you spied was indeed a baby by employing classic sniffing techniques. If you smell baby powder and the wonderful aroma of wet diapers this is indeed a baby.

3. Next you will need to flatten the baby before actually beginning the hugging process. **Note: The added slobber should help in future steps by making the "paw slide" easier

4. The "paw slide" - Simply slide paws around baby and prepare for possible close-up.

5. Finally, if a camera is present, you will need to execute the difficult and patented "hug, smile, and lean" so as to achieve the best photo quality

Dogs, if this is properly done, it will secure you a warm, dry, climate-controlled environment for the rest of your life. Good luck to all of you!
