When the conservative position needs advocacy in Central New York, Jon Alvarez is there. When a local issue in Baldwinsville needs grassroots action, Alvarez takes charge. When outspoken liberals need to be taken down a couple of notches, Alvarez does his best.

I enjoyed reading your interview. However I take offense at the "They’re spending like drunken soldiers," comment. I'm sure sailors everywhere will appreciate your perception.
Oh, one more suggestion. When you said “The only office I would want is dictator" you should prefix the word dictator with "a benevolent". People like that.

Thanks Gina! This is such a great place to live, isn't it? We just need to fix this broken political system...I've spoken with so many frustrated people, particularly retirees, as their property taxes skyrocket as do their assessments. All the while, our politicians try to figure where to spend all that tax money and are left scratching their heads wondering why businesses won't relocate here and citizens flee south. Go figure...
All I need is 4 years and I'll fix this country. ;)
Jon Alvarez doesn't take offense...Jon Alvarez seems to remember that another famous Texan used to speak about himself in the 3rd person, Sam Houston. He's one of Jon Alvarez's favorite Americans.
