Most Britons now believe the Muslim faith is a threat to Western democracy, a new survey has revealed.
A YouGov poll shows that increasing numbers think "a large proportion" of British Muslims feel no loyalty to the UK and are ready to condone or even carry out terrorist atrocities, while far more people feel threatened by Islam itself than was the case five years ago.
Dividing the nation
Muslim leaders responded yesterday by warning of the dangers that terrorists would succeed in their goal of dividing the nation, and fostering mutual fear and suspicion.
They urged all Britons to show solidarity in the face of terrorism, and stressed that the UK's 1.6million Muslims had a duty to help disrupt plots and to isolate extremists.
This week's YouGov poll asked almost 1,800 people across Britain for their views on terrorism and the "Muslim connection", and compared the findings with identical surveys taken in 2001 after the September 11 attacks, and immediately after last year's July 7 bombings in London.
The starkest finding was that 53 per cent of people now agreed that Islam itself - not just fundamentalist groups - posed a threat to Western liberal democracy, while only 34 per cent disagreed.
Major shift
That marks a major shift in recent years...

Jihadi Airlines! Check into it!
There's a solid basis for that hope- look how public opinion about the German Nazis changed between 1937 and 1940.
Deport all of them.
"slam itself - not just fundamentalist groups - posed a threat to Western liberal democracy"
Well, I'd think that after the decades of involvement with colonial interests in the Middle East and elsewhere the Brits would have seen this a lot sooner. I guess most from those days are long gone. Muslims are supportive of Islam not the tyrants and so-called Kings who rule by way of their Mullah stooges who enforce Shariah Law to dominate the people. They have no loyalty to anything or anyone but to their 'Prophet'.
Great idea for the mooselimbs to become busy with and run toward the jihad islamists. Complacency by the moose will cause the rabbit to run circles around the moose. Basically the moose is heading toward the pin with the rabbit riding herd, if the moose hedges, the rabbit will bite. Note to moose....the rabbit will bite so hard you will lose your mooseyness, best keep heading toward the pin moose.

The Brits are finally waking up
time for a house cleaning?
Yes, indeed, and you had better work a hell of a lot harder than you have been doing, or you will soon all be ejected.
Probably too late.
Perhaps it is true that you can't full all of the people all of the time.
There's no fool like an old full.
As usual, my tagline is a leading indicator of public opinion.
*pats self on back*
I wonder why people feel threatened. Could it be the buildings bombed? The throats slit? The heads placed on torsos? The sing-along head-chopping videos? The murder of Americans? Burning Americans. bodies? Dragging Americans' bodies through the streets? Hanging burnt American bodies from bridges and filming them? The threats? The subways bombed? The trains bombed? The elderly Jewish men in wheelchairs killed and thrown out of planes? The chanting of the deity's name while inflicting pain and death on non-believers? The attempts to blow up tunnels and bridges? The murder of innocents in a Jewish center? The calls for murder during sermons at mosques? Any of those things?
Before this is over I predict Islam will be outlawed. It is not a religion as much as it is a violent philosophy and army of death.
Will the political class listen to public opinion?
