Shhh! Don't give them any ideas. (as if they need any) I'm surprised they didn't raise gas prices just in case a hurricane hit.

Nice picture! I just don't want to see that anytime soon on SPI...please, no! I'm looking at that same stretch of beach right now and it's mostly flat.

Like they care - between "Storm Stories" and telling people what threadcount of sweater to wear when they go outdoors I doubt they have time to cover it.

TD #5 is much more of a threat to the U.S., and the GOM in particular, than Debby.

It looks like it will primarily be a threat to the western Gulf, anywhere from Mexico to perhaps Louisiana.

Way too early to know at this point with much certainty. It all depends on how firm the ridge over Texas holds.

I think it's safe to say it poses a threat to the states.

We have a trip planned to Montana leaving on Aug 31. If this thing is bearing down on Houston I guess we will have to cancel.

Today is only Aug. 24th. Do like many Floridians--shutter up the home for storm season and get out of dodge for cooler weather. No need to cancel a spectacular trip to God's Country for a hurricane.
