A Day in the Life of President Bush - (photos) - 8.22.06

After calling President Karzai of Afghanistan to discuss security measures and a potential visit, President Bush left the White House early this afternoon to go to Minnesota. In Minnetonka, he participated in a panel discussion on health care, and also signed an Executive Order to help increase the transparency of America's health care system - empowering Americans to find better value and better care. The order will require various federal agencies to compile information about the quality and price of health care they pay for, and share that information with their customers and each other. The White House website has posted a FACT SHEET about this order.

The President also attended a fundraiser for Minnesota Congressional Candidate, State Senator Michele Bachman after the panel discussion, and stopped for a frozen custard in Wayzata.

Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!

Glad you like it. I added it onto my personal page too.

I ordered a jigsaw puzzle with the "Dubya Mania" collage I did last week or so. It came in the mail yesterday morning, and I've already put it together at least 8 times. I got it from jigsaw2order.com. If any of you ladies like puzzles, you might want to check it out sometime. We have so many beautiful Dubya photos that would look great on a jigsaw.

Goodnight for now.

Thanks I have seen the caters individual portions of half and half in Britain but have not seen half and half as a product in the supermarkets.

I will do as you suggest and make from cream and milk.

As a jigsaw lover, that's a tempting thought........

(I think my family would think I'd gone round the bend if I did that, though.......... LOL!)

and they ADORE him!

And the 'realness' of GWB with 'regular' people couldn't be faked--we see way too many pictures. If he was putting on an act we (detailed observers that we are!) could tell. They adore him as you say, and he has great respect, enjoyment, and appreciation for his supporters.

Very neat! Good job. Do you have a copy of photoshop elements? It is not hard to use, and you would be able to sign it. If you ever have to edit this for some reason, the one flag picture that I don't see on here is the one where he is holding the tiny flag in his hand and has tears in his eyes. Love that picture.

It's interesting that what we get criticized the most for (too detailed observation ;) is the very thing that gives us the information as to who this man really is.

It's kind of a catch 22 for our foes, I'd say.

They certainly can't call us ill informed about the President and say it with a straight face. :)
