A Negotiation with Islamo-Fascism (RUSH)

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

Listen to Rush

RUSH: You know, the Muslims began a crusade years and years and years ago, and the Catholic Church didn't do anything about it for a hundred years. The Catholic Church got in gear and beat it back, but it took a long, long time. All the time they're trying to talk to them. All the while they're trying to negotiate. All the while they're trying to come to a mutual understanding. It's dangerous because these are people that genuinely want to wipe us out, and there's a significant portion of our population that does not realize that. Look it, let me try another analogy with you. Let's say that we're going to negotiate with -- pick a terrorist group -- Al-Qaeda. What's Al-Qaeda's sworn mission? (See, you gotta have courage to admit this, though.)

Al-Qaeda's sworn mission is to kill us. That is the mission of militant Islam. It's to wipe out infidels, and we are the worst of all because we are Christian and we are Western. Okay. We're going to negotiate with these people. Their starting point is: you're dead. "We're not stopping 'til you're dead."

What's our counter? Do we say, "Uh, okay. How about, will you let us live for 50 years?"

"No. We're going to wipe you out in 30."

"Okay, well, uh, will you only take an arm from each of us for the first 50 years?"

"Nope. We're going to kill you all as soon as we can."

"No, no, no, no. That's not fair! We're negotiating with you. Will you settle for two arms and let us live?"

"Nope. Our mission is to kill you, infidel."

"Okay, uh, how about an arm and a leg and let us live for 50 years?"

"No! We are not compromising."

"Okay, how about if you kill half of us, the Republicans? If we give you the Republicans, will you --"

"No! We are going to kill all of you."

My point is, where do you negotiate with this? How do you negotiate with people whose objective is to kill you, Ms. Blumner? I'm sorry. I know it's a hard, cold reality we all have to face here, ladies and gentlemen.

"Well, how about if we let you have the Republicans and Mel Gibson?"

"No, we are going to kill every one of you, and you will be first."

That's how John Kerry would do it. How do you negotiate with that, folks? On what threshold or basis is there reason for any kind of settlement?

"...I know some very good people who call themselves Muslim..."

Undoubtedly there are good people who are Muslim. Unfortunately, Edmund Burke's quote works for all people:

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."

While evil developed in their midst, the good Muslims either couldn't or wouldn't do anything to stop it. They cannot reform their religion which was founded by a tribal culture and is ill-suited to life in the 21st century.

Even if GW's vision of democratizing the Middle East comes to pass, experience shows that the freed people would vote conservative parties that promote Shari'a law into power.

And what would these democratic Middle Easterners contribute to our global economy? All they have is oil. Large segments of their populations are poor and illiterate (mostly female). Do you really think that we'll be buying Iranian manufactured HD TV sets or Saudi cars?

The only thing they have that makes them superior is their religion - Islam - which tells them non-Muslims are inferior.

They can't join us - they're countries and and people are too far behind. The only thing they can do is to drag us down to their level - by conversion or death. And their religion not only condones those solutions, it requires Muslims to do it.

"Better Dead than Red."

I was born in 1950, but I don't remember hearing this phrase. Thanks for posting it. I DO remember the Fallout Shelters and practicing hiding under the desks in school preparing for a nuclear attack that we were sure would come. Thanks to RWR, we no longer have to worry about that!

BTW, the rest of your post is "right on".

I agree. It reminds me of some of my friends who consider themselves Democrats because they and their families have always been Democrats, yet they have no idea what the party stands for. In fact, many of their own beliefs are in direct opposition to those espoused by the party leaders. They are just living their lives, totally uninformed about what is really going on in the political realm. When election time rolls around, they dutifully go vote Democrat without even knowing what they are voting for. Amazing!

So, what are you all so afraid of? It almost looks as if you are policing yourself!

You are absolutely correct.

Here's how it works.

I have a friend in Florida, a life-long union guy.

He is completely bigoted against minorities and homosexuals.

He's against abortion.

He thinks we ought to build a moat on the Mexican border and fill it with alligators and pirahnas.

He's a veteran and believes we ought to be engaged against Islamofiscism

He has never voted for anyone not a dhimmicrat.

Go figure!

Ahh...I think that you might want to do a little research.
Just a thought.

'kay. You might want to review the thread and see what others have posted to your "feelings" on the subject. Perhaps that will start another thought process. 'Kay?

Obviously you cannot read or comprehend what you read. The Koran explains it all to those who do not have their head in the sand. Tell me how does a, "Good Muslim," rationalize what the Koran dictates with being what you call a a good Muslim. It's nonsense to think that Islam can reside with any other culture.

It's nonsense to think that Islam can reside with any other culture.

This remark seems to imply that I said it could, but I don't recall saying that at all. In fact, that was the very question raised, along with a point that was obviously too subtle be discerned before the knee jerks.

Still, please explain how I can play basketball with an American person who grew up in New Jersey and works for a hedge fund and calls himself a Muslim and not come a way dead.

Resolve the following points and then maybe you'll see that playing basketball is not the same.

Can a devout Muslim be an American patriot and a loyal citizen?
Consider this:
Theologically, no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia.
Scripturally, no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran).
Geographically, no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.
Socially, no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.
Politically, no. Because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America, the great Satan.
Domestically, no, because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34).
Religiously, no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256)
Intellectually, no, because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.
Philosophically, no, because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co - exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.
Spiritually, no, because when we declare "one nation under God," the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as our heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in the Quran's 99 excellent names.
Therefore after much study and deliberation....perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both good Muslims and good Americans. Call it what you wish...it's still the truth. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country.

The Origins of Political Correctness
An Accuracy in Academia Address by Bill Lind

http://www.academia.org/lectures/lind1.html

(snip) How does all of this stuff flood in here? How does it flood into our universities, and indeed into our lives today? The members of the Frankfurt School are Marxist, they are also, to a man, Jewish. In 1933 the Nazis came to power in Germany, and not surprisingly they shut down the Institute for Social Research. And its members fled. They fled to New York City, and the Institute was reestablished there in 1933 with help from Columbia University. And the members of the Institute, gradually through the 1930s, though many of them remained writing in German, shift their focus from Critical Theory about German society, destructive criticism about every aspect of that society, to Critical Theory directed toward American society. There is another very important transition when the war comes. Some of them go to work for the government, including Herbert Marcuse, who became a key figure in the OSS (the predecessor to the CIA), and some, including Horkheimer and Adorno, move to Hollywood...

-----

I can see why telling the truth is now 'politically incorrect' - thanks for the link.
