I have come to a conclusion about the question of why are some muslims good people, if Islam is so evil.
It's a conclusion, not an anwer. And my conclusion is this: There are good human beings who are Muslim. And they seem to be collectively frozen stiff about standing up to people who do unspeakable evil on a mass scale in the name of their god. They do nothing. I don't know why -- perhaps they are terrorized themselves. There may be lots of issues. But my conclusion is, if the good people who are Muslim cannot find the moral capital in their faith to stand up against the evil people who are Muslim, they must either renounce Islam or become evil themselves.
In other words, either your faith condones the evil or it condemns it. Let the good people who are Muslim find a faith that is suitable to their goodness, if it isn't Islam. And let's quit pretending Islam is both. It's one or the other.

Did anyone catch the President on TV around 10 this morning? I swear he almost used the phrase "islamofascists" but then backed off. Kind of like he was thinking hard about whether to use this expression or something less inflammatory. Maybe he used "islamofascists" later in the speech, I'm not sure. But I sure would like him to continue to use the phrase "islamofascists" and the like. We shouldn't be backing down for fear of upsetting whiny lib's and terrorists.

If we cannot name the enemy, we cannot defeat the enemy. PC will kill us all if we do not end it now. Simple.

There are good human beings who are Muslim.Yes good Muslims are terrorists. Muslims that do not fight and die for allah , or support the mujahadin are bad Muslims.

not quite sure what your reply means. I know some very good people who call themselves Muslim. If you can't fathom that, well, go one back to the TV set.

Rush did say the President used "hezbo's"

I prefer aggressive negotiations aka "negotiations with a lightsaber." Too bad we don't live in the GFFA.

President Bush did call Hezbollah, "Hez-bos" in his conference today. That's good enough for me. Refer to them in "slang" and emasculate them! There is no doubt in my military mind that our current President "Gets It."
I just wish he'd Unleash the Hounds of Hell against our enemies, you know? ;)
Thank God we have him until January '08. I shudder to think what our country would be like if we had Algore or Kerry in charge all these years. *SHIVER*

I'm an Aussie. I wonder if you would be so kind and take the time to answer me something I have never understood about the US.
Who ENFORCES what you call political correctness?
In contrast, in Oz, if I were to run around screaming 'effing muzzies' or (say) denigrate our aboriginals by calling them 'those blacks' the sky would not fall on me. Bad manners maybe...
So, what are you all so afraid of? It almost looks as if you are policing yourself!
Please tell me, why? Is it really necessary in the US to keep criticism anonymous? Can't call a spade a spade no more?

Long before now (and I mean LONG before now), I stated repeatedly that Americans have been so insulated from the looming, widespread threat of Western extinction that even 9/11 wasn't enough. It will take the image of bodies stacked like cordwood - in the tens of thousands - before the national consciousness is awakened to the Islamofascist threat, among others. I soon realized that I was preaching to three distinct groups: 1) The Choir, who didn't need a wake-up call in the first place (and I count you good Freepers among them, TY); 2) The Appeasers, who by-and-large either A: put their faith in The Church Of Kofi Annan and The Right Rev. Jimmy Carter, B: crawl up their own skirts and disappear into their rectal cavities at the first sign of conflict, or C: sit in circles chanting Kumbaya while kissing the keisters of every lunatic and despot on the planet (Paging Cindy Sheehan!); and 3) the Moo-Eyed-Chew-My-Cud types who are content to let world events unfold around them as long as nobody runs the mower through their particular little corner of the global pasture. I eventually turned the volume down; if for nothing else, the sake of my own sanity.
I still stand behind that observation. It will take cities in flames before the Appeasers and suddenly-bleating Cattle help to mend the fence. If even then.

Yep, and why don't you start facing East and praying five times a day?So this is your response to the statement of the fact that there are people who are muslims that aren't interested in killing non-muslims?
Impressive.

Are you kidding? GWB said Hezbos?
Why aren't lib heads exploding? Why hasn't the NY Times already written a scathing editorial about it? Why hasn't al jazeera gone totally ballistic?

Didn't you know that the term "you can't call a spade a spade" is politically incorrect? It's racists and a hate crime.
