Buchanan Declares: Third World Conquest of America
Drudge Report ^ | August 20, 2006 | Matt Drudge

Posted on 08/20/2006 4:57:47 PM PDT by VU4G10

“As Rome passed away, so, the West is passing away, from the same causes and in much the same way. What the Danube and Rhine were to Rome, the Rio Grande and Mediterranean are to America and Europe, the frontiers of a civilization no longer defended.”

So begins a new work of warning from Pat Buchanan.

And this time Buchanan goes all the way.

STATE OF EMERGENCY: THIRD WORLD INVASION AND CONQUEST OF AMERICA hit the streets this week and it's designed to jolt readers with stats and analysis of illegal immigration gone dangerously wild.

Buchanan warns: “The children born in 2006 will witness in their lifetimes the death of the West."

One in every twelve people breaking into America has a criminal record.

By 2050, there will be 100 million Hispanics concentrated in the U.S. Southwest.

Between 10 and 20 percent of all Mexicans, Central Americans and Caribbean people have already moved to the United States.

Every month, the U.S. Border Patrol apprehends more illegal aliens breaking into our country, 150,000, than the number of troops we have in Iraq.

[The book was ranked #571 on AMAZON's sales chart Sunday evening.]

Buchanan slams the president: “Concerned about his legacy, George W. Bush may yet live to see his name entered into the history of his country as the president who lost the American Southwest that James K. Polk won for the United States."

In EMERGENCY, Pat Buchanan charges the Mexican regime with an Aztlan Plot, a conscious campaign to use America as a dumping ground for its poor and unemployed, both to relieve social pressure and effect a cultural re-annexation of the American Southwest. La Reconquista, the reconquest of the lands lost by Mexico in the Mexican-American War, Buchanan charges, is underway.

The Republican Party, a wholly owned subsidiary of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, is in the grip of a cult called “Economism.” It is all about money now. The GOP worships at the “Church of GDP”

• Both parties are paralyzed by guilt over American past racial sins.

• Powerful Mexican and U.S. elites seek to erase America’s borders and merge the United States and Mexico into a “North American Union.”

In his controversial final chapter, “Last Chance,” Buchanan lays out a national plan to deal with the State of Emergency, before it makes an end of America:

• An Eisenhower-type deportation program, beginning with all illegal aliens convicted of felonies and every gang member not a U.S. citizen.

• A ten-year moratorium on all legal immigration, at the level JFK favored in 1958 -- 150,000 to 250,000 a year.

• A $10-billion, 2000-mile double-line security fence between the United States and Mexico, built with no apologies to Mexico City.

Well we have different views and that is what make America great.

I find your post interesting...

it seems that the hallmark of a Jew hatin' nationalists is that he favors a robust right wing defense of his OWN country yet favors submission and defeat for Israel...

JM le pen, and heider from austria as two examples.

The vast majority ( something like 99% of them ) have long ago "turned him off". He now only attracts the fringe of the fringe of the fringe.

He's gaining NOTHING! You just like his argument on this and that is coloring your opinion.

Look up the KNOW NOTHINGS and read up on them. Pat is saying the same things that the "Nativist", the Know Nothings, and the KKK said 140+ years ago; except, back then, they were railing against the Irish. Then read up on Father Coughlin. Pat's his parrot and that's 60-70 years ago OLD cant.

Yep, just like McQueeg, LIBERALS love him, because he always trashes the president and all other GOPers; which he isn't.

Pat can be correct on one or two issues but he is a nineteenth century isolationist and an old school protectionist.

Since he maintains company with that PBS show, McLaughlin group or McGonigle group, I refuse to see him as credible.

they will eventually overrun the southwest

Eventually? Ever been to LA?

Riddle me this: why does some of the most expensive real estate in the US happen to be where the "Mexican plan" has already succeeded?

There's nothing wrong with a pyramid scheme, as long as you're on the top of the pyramid. Upper class Mexicans live very nicely, thank you very much.

Just make sure you're in a 'safe' zone (ie small, separately incorporated city with independent school district) and watch your personal net worth increase.

The ballon payment on illegals won't come due till we're long gone.

I know who those groups and people are. There is a severe problem in our immigration policy and something is needed to be done.

The Pakistanis ( yes, a lot of them are here illegally! ), Somalis, Dominicans, Chinese, and those from the old USSR are just as much of a problem, if not MORE, than Mexicans are. And the La Raza types are second and third and FOURTH generation American citizens.

I agree. For many FReepers, it's much easier to bash the messenger than refute the message.

I agree, as well. The mere mention of Pat Buchanan here results in a litany of posts with little content other than ad hominem attacks on him. We get it, guys, Pat Buchanan is the worst person in human history. With that out of the way, how about addressing his very valid arguments about criminal immigrants?

We will rue the day we passed NAFTA

Ross Perot and I stood up again against NAFTA. We stood up against GATT. We stood up against the World Trade Organization. We stood up against the $50 billion bailout of Mexico.

People ask, “Pat, why are you against NAFTA?” I said, “There are lots of reasons I’m against NAFTA. You do not force Americans making ten bucks an hour to compete with Mexicans who work for a dollar an hour.”

One year later, Mexico devalued the peso. American trade surplus disappeared. We now have a $15 billion trade deficit with Mexico, which means 300,000 American jobs were lost this year. Illegal immigration is soaring.

We are required to pay $50 billion to the government of Mexico. For whose benefit was that? It was not for the benefit of working Americans. It was for the benefit of investment bankers on Wall Street.

"So we should be a dictatorship then??? To heck with freedom?"

Does securing our borders and controlling immigration make us a dictatorship?

I will not support Pat Buchanan, but I also will not support a welfare plantation for illegals...

I pay enough damn taxes supporting these people now and I want it stopped with or without Buchanan.

If he or anyone else gets in the way crush them...

FR posters blinded by their rage and hatred for Buchanan, remain in a STATE OF DENIAL.

Flames up.

Oppose the "One Face at the Border" initiative Email your Members of Congress asking them to oppose the "One Face at the Border" initiative

In 2003, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the creation of a new Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO) position and the “One Face at the Border” initiative. Under this plan, a new position, the CBPO, would combine the duties of legacy inspectors from Customs, the Immigration and Nationalization Service (INS) and the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) into a single front-line border security position. With 41,000 employees, CBP is in control of 317 official ports-of-entry for travelers and cargo.

Essentially, the “One Face at the Border” initiative was aimed at unifying the inspection process that travelers entering the United States have to go through. Instead of making three stops – an Immigration Inspector, a Customs Inspector and an Agriculture Inspector – travelers would meet with a single primary inspections officer who was specially trained to do the job of all three.

Consolidating these three organizations has caused logistical and institutional chaos and has taken attention away from critical homeland security priorities. It is true that all three of these organizations deal with front line border and port security, but they do so in very different capacities.

Please email your Members of Congress asking them to oppose the "One Face at the Border" initiative and support a detailed, independent review of the proposal.
