A U.S. law enforcement official tells CNN that the man held in the slaying of JonBenet Ramsey offered details about the condition of her body that have never been made public.

Local news here in Montgomery has been reporting that 3 murders investigations here have been reopened and they are considering karr as a suspect. All 3 murders were of 11 yr old girls and took place in late 2001 (after Karr had fled California). Shannon Paulk was killed in Aug 2001 in Prattville, Al. Another girl was killed in N. Alabama near where Karr lived and went to school, and another was killed in Georgia. I do not have names or dates on those, but the report said that Officials considered that all 3 murders were possibly linked.
LOL. I haven't thought about this case for a long time. But it certainly is a good lesson in how important it is to not prejudge things and not believe everything you hear. In this guy's case as well.
Sandrock is the correct name for the person I was calling Sandbar
Michael Sandrock writes a column for The Daily Camera in which Michael Tracey also write a column for. Sandrock was in London and some how he ran into Karr. (something tells me that maybe Karr sought out Sandrock) - Sandrock put Karr in touch with Tracey.

linked by what?
the police often times get carried away with these cold case re-openings.
Thanks... I will take note of that.
also they are seeing if he is connected to another case in Santa Rosa, Ca - there has not been much released about the Santa Rosa, Ca info yet.
I'm just going to wait for the DNA. It may not be him. What I find interesting about this thread though, is the analyzing of the psychology behind the perpetrator. I think there is a lot of insight. I can see how elements of this crime do fit Karr's personality given what we know. But like you said, they have to show he WAS there.
The way the girls were abducted, killed and the bodies dropped in the woods. IOW they had considered at the time and still do that the same person killed all three girls - I.E. linked.
I'll take note of it... thanks
I'm a "you gotta get a perp with three pieces of strong evidence" to convict him and do away with reasonable doubt.
The Peterson trial was a good example. He never thought the bodies would surface. Until then, everything was tooooo circumstantial.
I'm pretty certain they have the right guy. The note matches the crime and his mindset. His "Victory" is against the rich and positions of power....the people who have "stopped him" from being a success.
Now the picture of the bear has surfaced. They said her little bear had a heart on it. Did he put a heart on her hand...just like the bear?? Where is the heart on the bear?
but does that MO link to the Ramsey killing? the method of death, notes left behind, etc.
they still must place him in Boulder, and explain the actions he would have had to have taken to get into the house, operate inside the house for so long, how he even knew of the Ramsey's, etc.
and they had better come up with more handwriting samples - because the note does not match that yearbook.
New York came to the plate thanks to our local D.A.. We've just changed NYS law to expand the base. Right to privacy?? Laws are made to protect good people. Either do it....or let them all go!!
NOt that I know of. They just feel those 3 cases are linked to each other. They said that they are looking at Karr as a possible suspect, so they were rechecking some of the facts in the cases, etc. MY take is that they are probably asking Boulder for Karr's DNA so they can match it to any DNA from these cases.
In light of Karr's "supposed" statement about 4 other murders (I say supposed because I haven't seen this before), it probably makes sense for them to at least check it out.
Whoever did that to that little girl was one sick twisted freak!
I also think people don't realize just how large, disconnected and public this house was/is.
A lot can go on in a house like that.
Did they ever run DNA on that guy?
