BEIRUT, Lebanon (CNN) -- A video showing Lebanese soldiers cordially offering Israeli troops glasses of tea during the military offensive earlier this month has hit Israeli and Hezbollah airwaves.
The video, shot by Israelis on August 10, when Israeli troops "took control" of the southern Lebanese town of Marjeyoun, aired on Israel's Channel 2 on Wednesday.
Hezbollah's al-Manar TV network and pro-Hezbollah NEW TV then picked up the video and condemned the Lebanese soldiers as deserters

Well, what the hell. The Lebanese Army might be all that well trained, but they wear a uniform, which is more than Hezbollah does. Hezbollah and their yellow flags. It fits them.
They were probably Lebanese Christians and Druze, the population of lebanon MSM keeps ignoring as they publish their stories in support of their terrorist pals.
Try find a MSM news story that DOESN'T restrict interviews with civilians to Shiite Muslims women wearing their freedom burka's.
Interesting. There may be hope for Lebanon yet - that is, hope that it can rid itself of the Hezbolla disease which is infecting it.

lol! Freedom Burkas!
We have a woman who wears a burka in my lab. It seriously freaks me out. She should be in Star Wars or something like that.
I don't know who released the video, but I wish they wouldn't have. The Lebanese soldiers' lifespan probably got a lot shorter.
I read somewhere that an Lebanese officer had been arrested over this already.
What's the problem with that?... my goodness.. people are just thirsty... Hizballs are very insensitive... if one day a hungry Hizball approach me, id give him pork BBQ...
If, as the article states, the IDF had taken control of the town in question, then the Lebanese soldiers were prisoners of war. I don't know the Lebanese code of conduct, but as long as Israel only compelled the junior enlisted to serve tea, I think they're in the clear.
Thanks for your input. In the country that this burka wearing woman comes from is it allowed for a western woman, say an American woman, to work in a similar lab in her former country without wearing a burka ? If not, what are the consequences ?
I think a lot of us are getting fed up with this one-way pandering to any and all who come to our shores....legal as well as illegal.
Bump
How very civilized... English even.
Why is CNN stirring trouble?
"The Israeli's videotaped the bizarre encounter"...
- Why is the encounter bizarre?
First they had tea; then they had a mock attack; then they surrender; then they are allowed to retreat home. Definitely English rules.
This one takes the cake Final CNN quote:
"Both sides may have a lot of explaining to do in the wake of the M. tea party. Which brings into serious question the code of conduct demonstrated by both sides"
Huh? Would CNN rather they had an all out fight? Blood, guts and entrails for the cameras?
Hezbollah hates peace ALERT!
