I just saw where U.S. District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor, who was appointed in '79 just ruled that the NSA Wiretapping program, that is vital to hunting down terrorists before they can attack America, is illegal.
Well, well, well. Now we see just how dangerous liberals are.
This is another reason to NOT vote for Dems. Their wacked out liberal thinking just endangers the U.S.
God help this country if those wacko Dems win the House.

Trial judge. The case still can be appealed to the - is it 5th Circuit in Michigan? and from there to the Supreme Court. Maybe by the time it gets to the Supremes, Pres. Bush will have a chance to put another justice on the bench: Ginsberg sleeps through everything now, and Stevens has to be 85.

I hear that Omar the tent maker is opening a shop at the Mall of America- his specialty is burkas. Should we American women start lining up for burka measurements? If not now, a few more lousy federal rulings like today's and we may as well kiss our way of life goodbye. God forbid there's another attack on the USA. Our blood will be on the Federal Court's hands, and I don't think they care. You know, we need to protect the drug dealers and terrorist rights. their right to kill me? what about my right to freedom?

Most American's believe this program is legal and right so all this judge did is demonstrate the activism going on in the judiciary and most people will reject it so it would be wise if the Rats didn't proclaim they killed this program but the Rats aren't wise.
I wasn't sure if it were the 5th or 6th. I'm in the 9th Circus (fun for me!), so anything east of here is a bit mysterious.
The Detroit Free Press runs a lengthy and interesting profile on Taylor playing up the importance of her decision before coming to this rather anticlimactic conclusion:
But even if Taylor harpoons the spying program, experts said, the decision likely would be overturned by the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.
"Given the composition of the 6th Circuit and its previous rulings in related areas, it seems more likely to favor national security over civil liberties if that issue is squarely presented," said Carl Tobias, a law professor at the University of Richmond in Virginia. "And that's what this case is all about."
FNC had a poll that showed that 51% of Democrats do not want the President to succeed. They want the Terrorists to win the War!
