Jonah Goldberg: The Swastika and the Scimitar
Los Angeles Times ^ | 8/17/2006 | Jonah Goldberg

Posted on 08/17/2006 4:02:08 AM PDT by markomalley

THE JEWS everywhere are "the Muslim's bitter enemies," said a prominent Islamic leader. Throughout history, the "irreconcilable enemy of Islam" has conspired and schemed and "oppressed and persecuted 40 million Muslims," he said. In Palestine, the Jews are establishing "a base from which to extend their power over neighboring Islamic countries." And, he proclaimed, "this war, which was unleashed by the world Jewry," provided "Muslims the best opportunity to free themselves from these instances of persecution and oppression."

Sound like Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah? Or perhaps Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? Nope. It was the grand mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Husseini, in 1942. An ardent Nazi supporter, Husseini delivered his speech at the opening of the Islamic Institute in Berlin, one day after the Allies denounced the Nazis for "carrying into effect Hitler's oft-repeated intention to exterminate the Jewish people in Europe." Husseini's address was approved by Nazi Foreign Minister Joachim von Ribbentrop, and Joseph Goebbels was in attendance. The Reich press office widely distributed the comments.

President Bush undoubtedly didn't have any of this in mind this week when he dubbed our enemies in the war on terror "Islamic fascists." But his comments — analytically flawed as they may be — added some much-needed moral clarity to our current struggle. They also helped to illuminate a much-overlooked point: Islamic fundamentalism and Nazism are historically and intellectually linked. (When the Israelis caught Adolf Eichmann, an architect of the Final Solution, a leading Saudi Arabian newspaper read: "Arrest of Eichmann, who had the honor of killing 6 million Jews.") Perhaps unsurprisingly, Bush's remarks seem to have struck a nerve.

The connections between Nazism and Islam have been throughly documented. They are a matter of historical record.

(No more Olmert! No more Kadima! No more Oslo!)

Both naziism and islamofascism are belief systems that teach killing and hatred of jews as a means of diverting attention from the failings of their own awful civilizations and keeping their sheeple in line.

Read these, and be sure to watch the video( at the first link ):

Hitler, the Mufti of Jerusalem, and Islamic Fascism

I’ve read about the alliance between Adolf Hitler and Muslim Arab leaders in World War II, and seen still photographs, but this is the first time I’ve seen actual video of Hitler meeting with the Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Muhammed Amin al-Husseini—Yasser Arafat’s alleged uncle. From a German TV documentary, with English subtitles. (Hat tip: Justify This, who also created the Azzam Tamimi “shrieking jihad” video.)  link: 142 comments

TOTALLY DEVASTATING.

Shows that modern Islamism and the Palestinian movement are the DIRECT descendent of Nazism. More connections here:

Lot's of Key Nazi's photoed with Husseini and his "Hanzar Nazi/Muslim troops"

Huge numbers of Muslims — even 45% of British Muslims — believe that the Jews were behind 9/11. Theories that the Mossad is behind every bad headline, from the Indonesian tsunami to bad soccer performances, are common on the Arab street.
The American Liberal version: It's all Bush's fault. Everything. Including the warm summer days (assuming they're a tad too warm).

Perhaps instead of referring to this terroristic threat as "Islamofacism," we probably should begin calling it "IslamoNazism?"

Like the Nazi's its only the Jews first. Islamics hate everyone and all will get their turn to be hated and killed if these Islamo-Fascists arent stopped.

As children we are all born innocent ,without hatred, In Islam hatred is planted and cultivated in their young as soon as they are born. Mothers who raise their children to be killers and "martyrs" ,instad of doctors and lawyers and good citizens. They spend more time worrying abou th rewards of 72 Virgins in the next world than looking for beauty and peace in his one. Its a sick cult followed led by sick perverted old men called Mullahs , who enjoy the pleasures of this world while laughing at the fools they lead.

Nazism definetly produces more of a gut reaction than facism.

'IslamoNazi' is a good idea - the connection is strong enough to justify it.'

This analysis, and others like it, are why I have suggested here on FR a different political word to use. It is "MAZIS," which means Muslims who act like Nazis.

Your suggestion is why I've shortened that phrase to "MAZIS."

Radical Islam has morphed into the 21st century Nazi party. Like a lot of ordinary Germans in the 1930s, the Islamic street has no problem with accepting this vile antisemitism and either actively or tacitly supports the Islamofacists.

We must learn from the past ..appeasement and negotiation didn't deter Hitler nor will it stop Islamofacist terrorists.
