WASHINGTON - Former President Bill Clinton got in the current president's face Tuesday, slamming the Bush administration for linking the London bomb plot and the war on terror to the war in Iraq.
"The Republicans should be very careful in trying to play politics with this London airport thing, because they're going to have a hard time with the facts," Clinton said in an interview.
"I don't think the foiling of that London bomb plot has any bearing on our Iraq policy," he said.
Clinton's broadside, delivered on ABC's "Good Morning America," came as President Bush spent his second day in the wake of the defused British terror plot holding high-profile national security meetings.
"America is safer than it has been, but it's not yet safe," Bush said at the National Counterterrorism Center.

"The Republicans should be very careful in trying to play politics with this London airport thing, because they're going to have a hard time with the facts," When did this master of deception (it's only about sex) ever have any compunction about playing fast and loose about "the facts"? Lying asshole.

While terrorists were attacking American interests around the world, including the World Trade Center (first attack) and the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya (killing 200+ people), BJ Clinton was busy getting serviced in the Oval Office by Monica. Saddam Hussein was involved in the first WTC attack, and he provided the chemicals to terrorists to bomb our embassy in Nairobi. The Clintonistas appeased the terrorists, hoping they would go away. The Clintonistas are complete and dismal failures, who disgraced the Office of President of the United States.

Well, Saddam is a piece of crap and deserved everything he got during Operation Desert Fox.
That just shows how far left the Dems have moved with respect to foreign policy. We didn't get UN approval for action against Milosevic and Hussein in the 1990s, but the neo-COMs today don't want any action unless the Chinese guy at the U.N. raises his hand.
They've gone completely mad.

According to Newsweek reporter Howard Fineman, this is true. In the 9/24/01 issue, Fineman says this statement was made in the Oval Office at the White House during a meeting with the president and four U.S. Senators. Fineman says Mr. Bush briefed them on plans for action against the terrorists and said, "“When I take action, I’m not going to fire a $2 million missile at a $10 empty tent and hit a camel in the butt. It’s going to be decisive.” http://www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/c/camelbutt.htm Bubba can stick that in his ....aw fuggedaboudit!!!

Slick's just jealous that so many terrorists have been killed under W's admin, while terrorists multiplied like bunnies when he was in office.

Iraq and what almost happened through Britain were both connected to Islamic Fascism.
If Bill doesn't get it, then Hillary doesn't either and she is proved even more dangerous as a Democrat President for any time, much less war time.

"The Republicans should be very careful in trying to play politics with this London airport thing, because they're going to have a hard time with the facts," Clinton said in an interview. Sort of like you using the military to take the heat off on the day the House voted to impeach you.
Remember Monica and the grand jury Bill....you know the day you destroyed an aspirin factory....to change the subject.
