DEMOCRATS: Hold anti-war views
SOVIET: Theory of communism expects there to be no war
DEMOCRATS: A liberal newspaper editor refused to print an article endorsing Bush
SOVIETS: No free press; all opposition to communism was suppressed
DEMOCRATS: Liberal philosophy calls for more government control
SOVIETS: Totalitarian regime where the government controls everything and uses the excuse that it's "for the good of the people" to cover it up
DEMOCRATS: View their opponents as a danger--i.e. "If you don't vote for John Kerry you won't have health insurance and the draft will come back".
SOVIETS: Distortion of truth that tries to lead one to believe that anyone who is not a communist is a threat.
DEMOCRATS: They hate America
SOVIETS: They hate America too
DEMOCRATS: Vandalize Republican campaign headquarters, defaced Bush/Cheney signs
SOVIETS: No freedom of speech nor the right to support whomever you wanted without being punished
DEMCORATS: Liberal teachers present only their side of an issue (which is always flawed) to the students
SOVIETS: Propaganda in schools to convince students that communism was flawless.
DEMCOCRATS: Modern liberalism is an ultra left-wing ideology.
SOVIETS: Communism is an ultra left-wing ideology.
Thanks ;D
In Tom Clancy's "Red Rabbit" there is a discussion about the fact that to the communists nothing matters except the politics of a situation. They ( the soviets) have no morals so there ARE NO 'moral questions', only what is either good or not good for the soviet union. Now that sounds very familiar.
