Critical Lebanese Cabinet Mtg Postponed Indefinitely
BEIRUT (AP)--A critical Lebanese Cabinet meeting set for Sunday to discuss implementation of the cease-fire between Israel and Hezbollah was postponed, a move that was likely to delay the dispatch of the Lebanese army to the south and an end to the fighting.
A top aide to Prime Minister Fuad Saniora said the meeting had been indefinitely postponed but would give no reason. Pushlished reports said the Cabinet, which approved the cease-fire unanimously Saturday night, had been sharply divided over demands in the cease-fire agreement that Hezbollah surrender its weapons in south Lebanon.
That disagreement was believed to have caused the postponement of the Sunday meeting that was to have taken up the dispatch of some 15,000 troops to the south.

I think they did. May not be much of a down side to this "cease fire". The Isrealis can now truthfully say that they operated in good faith and addressed the concerns of the rest of the world, and now go back in with renewed effort and determiniation to destroy Hizbollah.

Such cowards Olmert, Peretz and the rest of them are - they did not even see fit to condition the ceasefire on the handover of Nasrallah to Israel, the unconditional return of Israel's MIAs and the disarming of Hezbollah. Mark well: the Israeli government's agreement to surrender today to the enemy is a day of infamy that will go down in Israel's history. Israel's leaders are men with hollow chests, devoid of Jewish pride and ethical values. They won't know Jewish values either if they were slapped by them in the face. For Israel's sake, THEY ALL HAVE GOT TO GO!
