It was on yesterday's Opinion Journal. It should get more readership than just a Saturday paper. When the President and his policies were treated so shabbily at the National Review's huge 50th Anniversary Bash in DC, the antipathy of Buckley toward Bush became clear to me. Peggy Noonan and George Will are in that cadre. So sad after all these years that they have chosen to side with the Republicans of caricature - elite snobs.
Lansing Michigan AP reporter on the phone discussing Senator Debbie "big girl" Stabenow. She says Republican opponent Mike Bouchard has an uphill battle, even though Stabenow won her first race by just one percent. She says RNC strongly supporting Bouchard.
This information ought to be added to every article mentioning the commission.
IM(not so)HO the Feingold's of the world really do think we are that stupid.
One of our Arab FReepers said that Arabs always saw something as a win, even a loss.
Kissinger was Bush's choice, and the 'voices of opposition' rose up in agony against that, so Tom Kean was substituted. He must have passed the sympathetic to dems (ben Veniste and Gorelich) litmus test. Also he was from New Jersey where a huge number of the 9-11 dead had resided.
Both of which have NEVER supported PRESIDENT Bush.

FoxNews report says UK terrorists had materials and methods to carry out their apocalyptic plan to blow up airliners AND bomb ground locations.
[Does this plot have anything to do with the recent massive numbers of cell phone purchases and attempts to purchase in the US? One report last evening said the cell phone purchases had 'global' implications. It didn't give much additional details.]
On CNN Israel representative saying that resolution is a good one for Israel.
My doubts about that is hezballah has not been crippled and the 2 hostages have not been released.
Who's the winner and loser? Facts speak for themselves.
Israel accepting this resolution is a major disappointment!
Yes, the do seem to do so even as they bury the hundreds/thousands killed in battle. They aren't really dead, they're only sleeping martyrs. Primed for their next battle with the 72 virgins.
Geez.
Has anybody heard the WAFA SULTAN debate on Al Jazerra ??
She really slams the fanatical Muslims and does it so logically !! Brave woman !!

Howard Dean rarely disappoints. I wish these shows came on earlier though.
Thanks as always for posting the thread
It's obvious... WE are the enemy to them. WE are the evil behind ALL bad deeds. Goodness is ANYTHING that serves to bring us down.
FYI
David Gregory is subbing for Tim Russert on MTP this morning.
I can hardly wait for comments. We don't get it until the next hour. It is on opposite FNS, so I rarely watch it.
At present due to world opinion Israel have to pay lip service to the UN resolution.
IMHO they know that the terrorists will not comply so they can respond. Of course it will be reported as Israel breaking their word.
Meanwhile President is going to do what he always does best - cheer & encourage those working hard to prevent these attacks.
Tomorrow he is going to Pentagon & State Dept. Tuesday going to Homeland Sec. Dept in Virginia. Expect the media spin that the president is taking this for political advantage? What 's wrong with that, if that 's the case?
