Cindy Sheehan said Saturday that despite her overnight hospitalisation after a minor gynaecological procedure and treatment for dehydration, the war protest activities will continue on land she bought near President George W. Bush's Crawford ranch.
Sheehan was listed in stable condition at a hospital on Saturday.
Sheehan said she could be released later in the day but would still need to rest. She said she probably would not attend an afternoon barbecue at Camp Casey, the protesters' campsite named for her soldier son who was killed in Iraq in 2004.
"Everything will still go on," Sheehan, 49, told The Associated Press on Saturday morning. "I hope I can get there soon."
The protest is to continue through Sept. 3, even though Bush's 10-day ranch vacation is to end Sunday.
Huh? Anybody know more about this?
terminal hot flashes?

Unfortunatley, more than I care to know.
That damn Rove...what has he done now?
7 miles from W's ranch...NOT MUCH A PROTEST IN MY BOOKS.
Why in everything good and pure would I want to?
Didn't she leave last years protest in Crawford, also?
Huh, I would have guessed a little liposuction would have been in order. She's got a lot of fat between the ears, you know.
A D&C is not always a "minor" operation.
I think they did the wrong procedure, they should have called a proctologist to look around and see if there was any sign of cranial material.
This is also referred to as an early term abortive procedure. Just so's ya know......She was preggers.
this is classic.. anything to get attention.. including medical ailings.. LOL
Nope, and I don't want or need to!
My big question is how someone get dehydrated on a liquid diet.
My, what an "angelic" picture of the beastly woman. the fauxtographer strikes again!
And in related news, The Rev. Jesse Jackson
also reported to the hospital for removal of
a malignant growth on his back...
An unsuccessful procedure to remove her head from her rectum.
Some things should just remain private.
Could have just said an outpatient day surg.
No need to share in depth.
Yes, I remember that also.
Yes, some things should remain private. Her sister, however, decided the press, and therefore, all of us, needed to know the details.
She had to have a huge boil lanced off her ass.
I've seen this property described several times here but nobody has said exactly if people have to drive by it if they're heading down President Bush's road. Is it on the "main drag" ( as rural areas go ) or somewhat out of the way?
