On Thursday, President Bush said this week's foiled plot to blow up airplanes over the Atlantic is part of a "war with Islamic fascists."
Immediately, Muslim activists condemned the president's use of the phrase, with one group declaring it "counterproductive to associate Islam or Muslims with fascism."
As the newspaper that first put a variant of this term into public circulation in the United States, we'd simply say this: The Muslims who tried to blow up these airplanes are in fact fascists.
This might be worrisome to the Council on American-Islamic Relations, whose raison d'etre is raising the specter of anti-Muslim backlash. But that doesn't make it untrue.
Fascism is a chauvinistic political philosophy that exalts a group over the individual -- usually a race or nation, but in this case the adherents of a religion. Fascism also espouses centralized autocratic rule by that group in suppression of others. It usually advocates severe economic and social regimentation and the total or near-total subordination of the individual to the political leadership. This accurately describes the philosophies of Hitler, Mussolini, the leaders of Imperial Japan and other fascistic regimes through history. It also describes Thursday's terrorists.

CAIR is nothing but a media spin front for Islamic Jihad.
CAIR's stated goal which they published in 1998 is to convert the USA to Islam and establish Sharia law.
They shouldn't even be allowed to exist in this country, but for some reason our spineless government allows them to exist.
It was an undercover cop that infiltrated the group that tipped off the cops. The women were acomplaces to the jihadists. Some of them were british converts to Islam interestly enough. They seem to be good at finding the nutbars in western society and recruiting them. That's something we have to be weary of as well. The loony left is full of prime candidates.
It surely seems that Islamic Fascists is the proper description.
At least they aren't being called 'facists' - that would gall anyone!

(b) It is the religion whose book - the Quran - will remained preserved and unchanged, after the other Divine books and messages have been changed. The Quran is the miracle until the Day of Judgment. Allah has challenged anyone to bring a book like the Quran or even ten verses like it.

I use that phrase all the time, and you'd be AMAZED at how many people haven't heard that term. Amazed.
Just exactly what does "Council on American-Islamic Relations" mean?
Here's what it DOESN'T mean: that this is just a group of proud Americans who have to be of a particular religious affiliation.
This is a front group in service of foreign powers, that acts to undermine our policy at the highest levels, as demonstrated by their propaganda play against the President.
Their connections to foreign power/money should be fully examined and exposed.

I've been working on a shorter phrase to describe the enemy in the war we are in. My candidate is MAZIS, meaning Muslims who act like Nazis. And if Cair doesn't like it, they are welcome to move to a country where they feel comfortable.

Fascism:To me terrorists are terrorists. Be they Jihadist Muslims, Irish Catholic killers in the IRA, coked out FARC commies in Columbia or Maoists in Nepal. They 'do' terrorism for terrorism's sake.
- A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
- A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government.
- Oppressive, dictatorial control.
Now as to "Fascists". If anything, the Democrat Party of the USA is the closest thing to them definition wise. Except for the "nationalism" thing, since they hate the USA. They're kind of 'Commie Fascists'.
But hey, what do I know.
