(TV5) -- While FBI agents pour into Caro another incident breaks out in Gratiot County. At approximately 11:35am August 11th police were called to the Dollar General Store in Ithaca after a" clerk in Ithaca became suspicious after two men came into the store, and became upset when they were turned down while trying to buy several disposal cell phones.
TV5's Mike Terry spoke with the clerk who called police. She said they were two "Middle Eastern" men and said they've been coming into the store weekly and buying disposable cell phones. She said the same thing was happening at the dollar general store in Alma.
You might think the clerk became suspicious because of what was going on in Caro but when we asked the clerk she said she wasn't even aware of what was going on.
The policy at their store is that they can only sell two cell phones, per person, per day. She saw the men put the phones in the trunk of the car and when she thought they were coming back in, she called 9-1-1.
We did talk to Ithaca police while there has been no crime committed-they do want to find these men, and run their names against government watch lists.
There should be an immediate fed notice and law minimizing the number of phones purchased and requiring ID for all phone purchases - although with terrorist's penchant for multiple ID's I'm not sure that will help. Ideas?
Sell them the phones and tell them that the ACLU is a secret Zionist conspiracy that Israel can not like without.
So you want to penalize the majority of honest poor and minority folks who have bad or no credit and need a cell phone because of the actions of a few Muslim terrorists?
Even though we are not asked to make sacrifices, I'll do something anyway, which is to send packages to the warfighters overseas, assist the wounded stateside and to contribute to the foundations and trust funds providing higher education for the children of the fallen.
And I know that I am not alone because I see example after example of Americans doing the same thing.
The phones appear destined for overseas. Seems to dumb little me that the networks in Iraq could be set up to ignore American sold tracfones, or at least need additional credentials in that place before such phones could take any calls.
I just wasted a half hour tapping in a long reply that my PDA 'ate'.
Short anwer: your 600mah Lithium Polymer in relatively good condition can dump three amps minimum into a circuit for a few minutes... or until a wire melts... Yes, it will set off a blasting cap.
I'm enough interested in this topic to write up a long article for my blog on it. Maybe get something posted there tonight, but I gotta get some sleep now.... Ive been up for 20 hours.
Do you still get virgins if you've f-ed up trying to kill the Infidels?
Maybe they are planning on setting off more than one bomb?
Worth repeating...
The only relevance of the diet and exercise analogy is if we identify with our nation.
And, yeah, we, as a nation, seem kind of half-hearted about this thing. Part of that is the success of the left in taking over our educational system. People don't know history, especially military history. They haven't read, say, Caesar or Plutarch so they know neither how different the US is from a real imperialist country nor what it takes to win a war. They haven't even heard of Danegeld so they think we can buy our enemies off. If you say,"Si vis pacem, para bellum," they either have no clue or they think your a bloodthirsty nut.
Assuming there really was a water leak, and that's not jut a cover story, of course...
I've been thinking about that. Maybe, just maybe they don't want a block of 1000 or so live phones moving from cell to cell to cell at the same time? It might make them stand out more?
Probably not that, it's a bit subtle for them.
When shipped the phones are completely shut off, so they would have no way of tattling on themselves until turned back on.
I have a Tracfone and have had one for years. For $100 you
can get a year's service and more minutes than I would ever use.
I am a senior. and keep it in my car in case I need it in an
emergency. The unused min. rollover each time you renew.
I don't give out the number and only use it for outgoing
calls. For less than $10/month it is a bargain.
Come to think of it..... If I remember correctly, every cell phone I ever bought.... incliding a tracfone for a relative last year, the battery was not even in the phone ... you had to unwrap it from cellophane or plastic baggie and install it yourself .
They were probably just packing each component separately for space efficiency..... It would be hard to pack a thousand of those blister packs that tracfones come in efficiently even in a good sized van.
The phones were apparently destined overseas (i.e. insurgents in Iraq). Makes more sense to restrict those phones there rather than everywhere, and in the meantime keep an eye on the calling behavior of the phones in North America.
That makes more sense than my theory...
