Pakistan: Suspected London Plane Terrorists Have Al Qaeda Connection
LONDON Police arrested 40 people in cities throughout Italy in raids on Muslim gathering places in a security crackdown after Britain thwarted an alleged terror plot, the Interior Ministry said Friday, as Pakistani intelligence agents claimed there was an connection with ties to to the group of suspected terrorists arrested Thursday.
The arrests in Italy were made Rome, Milan, Venice, Florence, Naples and other cities on Thursday and Friday "as part of an extraordinary operation that followed the British anti-terrorist operation," the ministry said in a statement.
Exactly!
Luckily breast milk comes in 2 natural containers that can't be mixed with anything, unless the terrorists are going to have bombs in breast implants. TSA only allows single packs of formula which is a dry powder. I was not allowed to take it already mixed with water on the plane. I took the dry packets on the plane and mixed with water that I had brought. The thing that will change is that now a mother will only be allowed to mix her packets with water given to her by the flight attendant. The single packets can go through x-ray, etc as well as any bomb residue tests that may be on the outside of the packet.
BKO Ping.
Today, at what shall remain an unnamed university in Florida, I witnessed 3 arabs walking down the sidewalk, one had on full saudi regalia (long white dress, head gear etc.) and two more were walking beside him (one on his left and one on his right). I can't describe what I was thinking....

Not sure...but they might be able to from a modified boat.
It's less than 1,500 miles from Venezuela to Miami FL. The last estimated range of the Shahab-4 / Zelzal-4 I've seen was about 1,200 miles.
Although, Cuba is midway and Hugo and Fidel are friends.
There would probably be a LOT of people ditching the DUmbocrap partay if they thought they were aligned with these nutbags!
Yes, they've said that they will examine baby bottles. It's on TSA's website under FAQs.
I've looked into this because I am flying in a couple of weeks with a 4 month old an I must transport breastmilk.
I've sent an email off to TSA to ask them to clarify some things for me. I have to be able to keep the milk cold. Previously, our plan was to put the milk in special storage bags and then use either a soft sided cooler with freezer packs or a small cooler with ice. This would have been allowed.
Now? Who knows. TSA actually said they would clarify this. Don't know when though.
I can't take it in an empty cooler and then get ice on board the plane because they are saying you should get to the airport 3 hours early, plus what happens if the flight is delayed? Risk the milk going bad?
On a separate note, I'm not too keen on a TSA person examining my breastmilk until I know how they plan on doing that without risking it getting contaminated by germs, etc. But what am I going to do? Not fly? F*** the terrorists. They aren't keeping me from Vegas!
I haven't. I'm still looking and have contacted the reporter to ask. Will post here when I find out.
Many of our Libertarian friends would agree with much of DU. Sadly.
Sorry, the date was 2/22/06. Some FReepers think the article is too old to be relevent though.
I have a dumb question. Can't you transport it inside your breasts? why does it have to be pumped?
James Fetzer.
I'm guessing that any cellphone in checked baggage would have to be connected to a network to receive a call immediately, even from an airline phone. In all liklihood, the caller would go to voicemail of the cellphone. Then when the airliner was over land and the cellphone in checked baggage could connect to the cell network, it would get a ring that would indicate a voicemail waiting, and BOOM!
Not always. I have to pump and feed my baby from a bottle.
See my post at 288.
I love it when you do that. :-)
Just read a snippet this morning that something similar has happened today too. Need to keep an eye out for this methinks.
