problem is the wording...chapter 6 vs chapter 7..chapter 6 says the international force can't engage hezbollah except in self defense..this is the chapter the UN has been working under for the past 25 years and the current one in the wording

chapter 7, the one israel wants, allows the force to actively engage hezbollah to enforce UN resulotions

This seems like more of the same BS... He ordered the military to "get ready" for attack. They have BEEN ready for a month.

They had a plan that was three years in the crafting. It involved a quick assault on Beirut to snatch hezbully leaders before they had a chance to scurry into Iranian mole-holes. It involved a massive invasion to the Litani in a day or two. It involved clear thinking and firm action, two qualities that the schmuck Olmert clearly lacks. He's such a d-wad that I skip 90% of the stories about this "war". This isn't a war, it's PC theater with occasional bursts of fire.
