Sounds like their mad at the wrong person. Maybe they should be mad at the 'Islamic Fascists' that are trying so hard to kill everyone.

It strikes me that this ridiculous group could have been even more effective, from a propaganda standpoint, if they had said, "President Bush is right; there are fascists among our co-religionists and we must work with the West to root them out." Instead, their defense will only create a greater backlash against Islam.

This guy from "CAIR" is just mad that he can't carry his Gatorade with the special liquid C4 compartment on board anymore.

Nihad Awad, executive director of CAIR, believes Bush should not even mention Islam when referring to the would-be terrorists.
It's the terrorists that should not mention Islam when referring to what they do then.

We're more upset that the Islamo-facists are trying to savagely kill the infidels.
Doesn't seem to bother CAIR.

"For the president to articulate who the enemy is so clearly and unambiguously is a huge step forward,"
Yes, it's way overdue. We are at war with dangerous splinter groups who use the Muslim religion as a justification for murdering us and disrupting our society. Islamic fascists is a proper term for them and a better label than "war on terror." Terror is what they do, Islamic fascists is who they are.

"We have to isolate these individuals because there is nothing in the Koran or the Islamic faith that encourages people to be cruel or to be vicious or to be criminal," Awad said. "Muslims world wide know that for sure." Well..he's allowed to lie. His worship book says so.

Regarding the title; when are muslim groups NOT upset? This story is along the lines of "the sun came up in the east".

Just goes to show you can't please all the people all the time. That particular phase was the one I liked the best. And on the other hand I get upset every time I hear "religion of peace". And ROP is far ahead of IF so I deserve a lot more speeches with IF in them. Just to be fair.

Yeah, Bush should never have use the phrase 'Islamic Fascists'.
He screwed up.
The correct term is ISLAMOFASCISTS!
I prefer the term ISLAMONAZIS, but that's a personal preference.
Or here's one to ponder: ISLAMOGENECIDALISTS!

The most important point here isn't what CAIR or anyone else says about this Presidential comment, it's the simple fact that GW actually used the term "Islamic Fascist". It needs to become the term of choice at all levels of government when referring to the "war on terror" as it more precisely defines the conflict. It's time to rein in PC and speak the truth openly.
