Religious group bristles at Bush term ‘Islamic fascists’

WASHINGTON - U.S. Muslim groups criticized President Bush Thursday for calling a foiled plot to blow up airplanes part of a “war with Islamic fascists,” saying the term could inflame anti-Muslim tensions.

“We believe this is an ill-advised term and we believe that it is counter-productive to associate Islam or Muslims with fascism,” said Nihad Awad, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations advocacy group.

I totally agree with you, when they start turning in their fanatic brothers living among them and when they start speaking out publicly in huge numbers against the fanatics and their acts of terror and slaughter, then maybe the American people we will reassess our opinions of them. If they don't like the criticisms, then they are free to leave ASAP.

There is no suggestion Galloway is an associate of Zaman.

Then how can you say he is not a threat in any way? If he's raising muslim kids, he's a direct threat to U.S. security.

We've never had to consider parents of criminals to be as guilty as the criminals before.

Someday when this thing really plays out. It's going to involve rounding up a bunch of old people because of their religious beliefs. And a bunch of their kids or other young people in the same religion, because they're bad guys. There won't be a clear way to distinguish between them.

Even if everything you state is true, one exception does not negate the fact that we should be at war with all of Is_Slime and MOST of them are inside the Trojan horse claiming falsely to be a religion. If one of these plots succeed and kill a bunch our citizens, fear might be a light word to use at that time.

There might be a severe backlash in the form of shipping out mullahs in this country and anyone who is supportive of this. There has to be a limit to what they abuse as "free speech".
