Two of the men arrested on suspicion of being involved in a terror plot to blow up a series of transatlantic planes had converted to Islam, it emerged.Ibrahim Savant, from Walthamstow, east London, changed his name from Oliver when he converted, according to neighbours.
The 25-year-old student, whose Muslim wife is reportedly pregnant, was arrested at his family home in Folkestone Road.
Another suspect, who was not named by police, converted to Islam just six months ago. He was arrested during a raid at a house in Hepplewhite Close, High Wycombe.
According to locals, the property belonged to a white man whose behaviour had altered when he took up the religion.
"He converted to Islam about six months ago and grew a full beard," an 18-year-old local resident, who asked not to be named, said.
"He used to smoke weed and drink a lot, but he is completely different now."
Mohammedanism and democracy don't mix, perhaps because Mohammedanism prescribes dhimmi status or death for non-Mohammedans. We have to halt Mohammedan immigration now.
How is this radical Islam different from the radical Christianity of Mother Theresa? Oh, wait...
Islam is a cult. People go into it because they are confused, looking for direction, and want something to take over their lives and tell them what to do, every little thing down to what hand to wipe themselves with. Just as women who are lost soul/seeker types will do things like convert to the Heaven's Gate cult in LA (remember that one?) and dutifully kill themselves on command, so they will join a cult that tells them they're garbage and puts every detail of their lives under the control of someone else.
It's amazing the lengths people will go to to get rid of the burden of freedom, which makes them confront their lives and ask themselves some serious questions about their own responsibility for their condition. A genuine religion makes one confront one's life in the context of its ethical precepts and eschatological view, and asks them to use their freedom to conform their lives to that ideal. Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, etc. all do this.
But Islam, which also offers itself as a political system, takes its follower, makes that person adopt strange rules that cut them off from non-cult life and friends, and tells them that nothing is up to them anymore. They have submitted (remember, Islam means submission), gotten rid of that awful burden of freedom, and will do whatever the cult demands.

I have to say I agree completely with you. I also think we need to profile at airports, even though there are muslim fanatic religion of peace types that look like you and me, and thus, are difficult to spot. In Spain three years ago, the Spanish authorities pulled me aside (I'm Italian on both sides, mom and dad) yet my wife, a blond, was allowed to board the plane unhindered. I believe the Spanish were profiling, and I had no problem with that. If the terrorists were Italians, I would expect to be searched before I got on a plane.
The death cult is a murder cult and a cult for psycho killers as well.
All the mullahs that brainwashed these miserable human beings should be executed.

They need to go in and search that Mosques where they worshiped.

I wouldn't be suprised to find out that 1/3 or more of the members of many American mosques are FBI or other intelligence agents at this point in time, almost 5 years after 9/11.
It's hard to say what the Spanish are looking for - I've been searched a couple of times in Spain and I certainly don't look Arabic. I would imagine it's probably because I travel to Spain fairly often for long periods of time, so my name may be on a list. I hope they're not just going by appearance, in any case, since at least one of the Muslim terrorists arrested in England appears to have been a Muslim convert of full English descent, and one of the others was somewhat of a convert (his father was Iranian but a non-practicing Muslim) who had an English mother.
Still, I'm all in favor of halting Muslim immigration, and maybe that should extend to halting "conversions" to Islam in our countries, as well. Islam never has a good effect on its converts.
What really confuses me is when black women convert to Islam. The day to day tenets treat these women at a level just above slavery. They are free...so they chose to be enslaved? Nope, don't get it

No, I'm saying that "thought crime" has no place in a free society. Toleration of incitement, however, is fundamentally misguided.
I remember a big photo that appeared in the papers waaaaay back in the very early 1970s. It was a picture of a 'black moslem' meeting (this was what they were called then ; I don't believe Nation of Islam, Lost-Found Nation of Islam, etc, existed then, at least under those names). The women were segregated, their heads were covered, and they had been placed under a huge banner that read : We Must Protect Our Most Valuable Property....Our Women.
