Love is a Battlefield
IDF soldier received heart shaped cookie somewhere near the Lebanon border...
I think some of the pro-cease fire things we hear are leaks by the peace at any price minded people in the Olmert government...
which resolution is coming for a vote? the old one that israel rejected or a new one at the last minute
Hunt sounds like he is negotiating the deal himself.
France now negotiating with itself.

UN deal reached on Mideast draft resolution - UK
UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - France and the United States, backed by other key U.N. Security Council members, reached agreement on Friday on a draft resolution aimed at halting the bloodshed in Lebanon and Israel, British Foreign Minister Margaret Beckett said.
"We have an agreed text," Beckett told a small group of reporters. She said the full council would receive the draft later in hopes of a possible vote on Friday. Beckett also hoped Israel and Lebanon would abide by it.

Jonathan Hunt (Fox) "there is no chance that Hassan Nasrallah will sign off on the UN resolution..."
AP: Good chance that Israel will accept resolution
That was my feeling last night when the hangdog consensus in here dominated the board.
Last night I was thinking Olmert was being convinced...
People need to stop bashing Olmart as if they KNOW what is going on. There is a ton of misinformation out there and a lot of it is put out there on purpose. People need to wait and see what happens before passing judgment on how this is going to go.
DId I get this right?
Lebanon saying they'll accept the deal...but knows Hez will never agree.
So, it appears Lebanon is using this as cover for not sending the Leb army to fight with Hez...gracefully bowing out.
