HE's brand new. We couldn't know what he would do. We gave them every opportunity to take the fight to the enemy. He bungled it. He's an embarassment to his people and the world. I could just spit, I'm so disgusted. You don't leave your people behind. You don't start a war and then accept a cease-fire from without. THis was a WASTE. Nothing gained.

I know sweetie- I'm beginning to think I need to "step away"..I honestly never thought it would come to this. This is a Neville Chamberlain moment if ever there was one..it is sickening and frightening.

This current Israeli government has been looking for a way to avoid doing what need be done from the beginning.
Olmert will go down in history as an utterly disasterous PM. It amazes me that average Israeli citizens would accept this. The entire region is going to view this as a defeat for the state of Israel, and the consequences will be dire.
Did this resolution even mandate the return of the 2 kidnapped Israeli soldiers? What becomes of them? That was Israel's reason for going to war in the first place, and now they are going to tolerate Hizbullah continuing to hold them?
Unfortuantly, many of us saw this disasterous end all along. So sad.
Just awful...I am so depressed, and angry.
Another thing that wasn't in the resolution is any help for Israel....they were hit day after day with kaytushas...the north part had to shut down for a month...but not one word was said about any kind of help for Israelis...

By not calling for the return of the soldiers he dishonors those that have given their lives for this war.
Yaah..that is US...but NOT for Israel...oh no...for Hezbalebanon!!!
