Thanks, I'm sure I will. My mom was even crying with me today. :) She was a teacher for many years, and she was so good with the parents. :) I hope I can be that way when I begin teaching again.

Oh my, I was hoping they had found them all.

Emily, I know how you feel. It's very scary, all the more so because such a large segment of our population refuses to acknowledge the danger we face. They work daily to try to tie the hands of the President and others attempting to protect us.

One of these days, like 9/11/01 and the anthrax attacks, another plot will not be discovered or stopped on time. God help us when that day comes.

Will you, now that your baby is in kindergarten? Or will you wait awhile longer?

That was one dreadful day and probably when dad started to explain to me what the Islamic view was of Jews and Christians.

One reason I was glad not to listen to the news today. The media has become more and more the mouth piece for the terrorists and I can't take it anymore. I just can't understand some of these journalists.

It was dreadful, and it makes sense that would be when your dad started to explain Islam to you.

IGNORE ALL POLLING DATA FROM THE MSM (including OpinionDynamics/FoxNews and Rasmussen -- OD oversamples Democrats by 5-8 points and Rasmussen is now oversampling Democrats/Democrat-leaning Independents by 4 1/2 points, UP from EVEN at the beginning of the year).

The following information is all you need to know!
[Thank you Howlin, ohiowfan, et al, for pinging me to a related FR thread!]

BASE MOBILIZATION SURVEY FINDINGS & CONCLUSIONS

. . . Overall support for President Bush and congressional Republicans from the Republican base is very strong.

The generic congressional vote from Republicans is an overwhelming 84% to 6% within sampling error of what we found for the 2004 election. An equally impressive 88% to 11% majority of Republicans approve of the way the president is handling his job!

I just can't understand some of these journalists.

Neither can I. No explanation really works without thinking of them as the worst form of traitors.

I just finished the last course I needed to get recertified. I am taking several tests this fall and then I hope to get a job next year. I wanted to keep this year open to be a room mom and help with Anna Kate's class. I did that with my older 2 and I want to do it with her as well. Especially since I am leery of the teacher. I hate feeling this way, because I have loved all of my girl's teachers. But we all had a really good summer, we had fun together and all 3 didn't want to go to school. So maybe after we get back into the routine it will be better. Sometimes I think I wish I had homeschooled. The school sees my children more than I do.

Can you ask to have her changed to another teacher?

Spot would be proud, Dolly. She was gone by the time I joined the Dose, but she looks like a very sweet little doggie.

I like the pic where she gets a kiss from Dubya the best.

I could, but I think I will wait it out a little longer. It could be I'm overreacting. :) she is the baby, and I have held on to that. But if it isn't better in a month's time, I think I will either get her changed to a new teacher or remove her and homeschool. I can't take much more crying. It was heartbreaking.

Todays events proves one thing.. Just because if we close our borders and stick our heads in the sand.. Nothing is going to happen.. WRONG!!! Granted we do need to something about the border, but it is not going to be the cureall..

IGNORE ALL POLLING DATA FROM THE MSM

Grin...Deb, I can't speak for anyone else, but as for myself, I always ignore the polls. No one has ever given me a satisfactory explanation of why I should trust something that cannot be objectively verified as accurate against real-world criteria.

I don't know who came up with the concept of "presidential approval ratings," but do know it isn't found in the Constitution or any of our founding and governmental documents. It's some PR thing invented by some pollster or wag, and there is absolutely NO way to objectively guage its accuracy. Elections are our report cards. Polls that purport to be electoral guages are offensive to me.

It's a shame we have those who are only interested in their own gains, rather than what is good for the country and humanity.

I am unconvinced that they do it for their own gains, rather to destroy our country.
