Yeah, people want the govt to hand out money but they also don't want to pay taxes. That can't work. The Dem solution: Raise taxes! (socialism) The Rep solution: Give tax breaks to put wealth back into the hands of the people; some directly benefit, others benefit from charitable organizations; we all win. Sadly, there's a huge entitlement crowd out there, and the socialists pander to those useful idiots who are too stupid to see that they are entrapping themselves in poverty.
