What we do: Anyone who has felt the tenderness of a gentle paw on their knee or the tickle of whiskers on their cheek know why pets are important creatures. They are comfort, companionship, and camaraderie. This is why volunteers of ARV (Animal Rescue Voluteers) work to save live of these wonderful pets. Between Ventura and Los Angeles counties more than 190,000 pets are euthanized each year. ARV is non-profit Tax organization that has played a vital role in assisting Animal Control Agencies to save thousands of pets before they are destroyed. ARV is an ALL voluteer organization, relying only on foster homes and private donations to continue their work. All monies from Wag n' Walk directly benefit homeless animals in our community.

I have no idea if this is in NY or Australia, but it sounds like a worthy cause. I wish you much success.
