U.S. Senators call on Bush to support Serbia

WASHINGTON DC -- 25 U.S. Senators are asking that the U.S. president supports the democratically elected Serbian government.

The letter argues that Serbia’s role is of vital importance for the future of South-Eastern Europe and America’s regional interests and that Belgrade has grown into a strong U.S. regional partner.

“In order to help transform Serbia, the U.S. should support the reforms in the military and the security sectors, encourage cooperation with the Serbian Army and enabling its officers to attend military colleges and courses in the U.S.”, the letter said.

The Senators remind that it is Serbia’s strategic goal to join the European and the Euro-Atlantic community and state that the Serbian government has once again expressed its strong dedication to the regional stability when it accepted the democratic will of Montenegro to become independent. “However, extremist groups in Kosovo are attempting to pressure Serbia in a way that would lead to destabilization. Serbian authorities are asking that we do not withdraw our support at this vital moment. NATO led KFOR must stay in Kosovo until it is clear that the government there can provide security for all citizens”, the U.S. Senators said in their letter.

“We strongly urge you to support President Boris Tadić and the democratically elected Serbian government”, the letter concludes.

Apparently US confidence is such that it would not subject itself to such a monstrosity, dumb ass.

And US opinion is such that Serbia needs to remain under the jurisdiction of the ICTY, seeing as how the Serbs are still unable to deal with their recent past themselves.

I should have specified "balkan policies" in my previous post. My bad.

Exactly what would the Muhammedan need to do to make you realize they are our enemies?

Take away your kneepads before you do your Dhimmi duty?

"You're laboring under the delusion that their policies are separate from those of America."

Only those of the islamofascist-loving Democrites like you, Hopie.

The tide has begun to turn. I'd find a boat or something to hide under if I were you, Hopeless.

Wake up. Serb nationalists and their supporters will never find a friendly administration in Washington - your ideals and goals are anathema to those of both of America's mainstream parties. It's a common plank, in the American platform, if you will.

If the last 6 years of Republican stewardship of America haven't been proof enough of this for you, then I can't imagine what would be.

The obvious conclusion is that you and your friends are so wrapped up in your fantasy world that nothing can reach you anymore, and the only reason I stick my oar in is out of morbid curiosity and an ever increasingly satisfying sense of schadenfreude.

Otherwise known as "sadism". It fits and I am glad that you admit what a small, sick little man you are.

I am an American-- born and raised. And, since the war on terrorism, Americans have begun to understand Serbs a whole lot better -- much to your chagrin, Hopeless.

You are all alone out there on FR these days, in case you haven't noticed. Your propaganda ain't working anymore, and your buddy Suleyman has taken a hike. Unfortunately for you, Hopeless, you are truly living up to your name!

I've always thought he was a sadist, and cold-hearted, with a Nazi-like attitude towards Serbs - and wanting to crush them under his jackboots. I mean, didn't you already figure this out about him, without him actually having to say it?

Yes, but I was surprised that his widdle-bitty fwagile ego would let him admit it.

:)) they are supposed to trust us? you have got to be kidding. The only reason that they are even cooperating a little is to get in with the UN etc......political reasons. They have been acting right. The K-Albanian extremist, Mafia has been murdering Serbs since 1999, and actually before that.....but after 1999 to date, they have been engaged in ethnic cleansing operations to reduce the number of Serbs in order to justify independence for one reason. They used the Black Eagles paramilitary group under the control of Ramush H. to murder Serbs in a village, in order to force the remaining occupants to pack up and leave. I know this for a fact, as I tracked their progress......This was done UNDER OUR NOSES.......fact. The UCPMB would send several members regularly to the American outpost on the boundary of Kosovo and Southern Serbia; in order to deliver a training schedule of their terrorist training near my region. I know because the American KFOR representatives were perplexed that the higher command allowed this relationship. The UCPMB conducted operations against Serbian Police in the buffer zone, then run back into Kosovo. There was very close coordination between UCPMB members and TMK/KPC members during this time. I know this because I saw them drive away while three of us were surrounded by 5 UCPMB members wanting to know what we were doing at CP-5.....

And you expect them to trust us....? when are WE going to start acting like it and dethrone Ceku, Ramush, and the rest of the Albanian Mafia.......give Kosovo back to the LDK.....for starters. Allow the Serbian police to reenter Kosovo and run concurrent operations against Serbian and Albanian Mafia gangs.....for starters.....

We are in fact changing things. The actual strategy was to find a way to change our government from a constitutional republic to a socialist form of government. If I remember tomorrow, I will provide the person and quote..in any case, how to do it? The answer was, in all seriousness, was to substitute the word Socialist with the word "liberalism"...or Liberal. This is the way they are seeking to change out government to a socialist society. And, it's working..........for now. Clinton is an example...with Hillary to follow.....and their haphazard way of introducing very stupid but sinister programs.

Like I said, you're too wrapped up in your fantasy world to discern reality anymore - Serbia remains a pariah nation, and shall remain so as long as it chooses to avoid dealing with its recent past in the manner you and your friends around here.

I can live with that easily enough, and if you can too, well, then we're good, aren't we?

Ooooh. More schadenfreude.

The only pariah here, Hopeless is you. The only irrelevance here is you. When you really get that, then yeah, we're good.

Ok, I'm a pariah, and I'm irrelevant to the local chetnik community.

That helps Serbia in the real world how, exactly?

I understand your desire to personalize the discussion in my regard, but you need to understand that my personal fortunes and those of Serbia have nothing to do with each other.

Don't worry about Hoplite. He's probably the biggest, loser Serb-hater on FR.

I am an American Serb, born & bred. My father fought for the US Army during WWII and my husband for the US Air Force in Vietnam. And that makes me "a Cetnik" exactly how?

And you give a damn about anyone helping Serbia?????? Your nose is growing, Hopeless!

For someone who repeatedly goes on & on about how unimportant Serbia & the Serbs are to you, you spend a ridiculous amount of time here arguing against them while continually protesting your indifference.

Me thinks thou doth protest too much, Hopeless. You are a man on a mission -- a creepy little man on a mission -- but on a mission, none the less. So just own up -- and for the sake of not making anyone here barf, don't pitch any altruism in it because it is obvious that you don't give a damn what anyone else thinks or feels. What are you and what are you here for? A neo-Nazi with a hatred for Serbs? A Croat or Muslim mercenary who still needs to feel that you fought for something of value in Bosnia or Croatia? You are way too invested here not to have some partisan angle on all of this, Hoplite, so quit acting as though it is not "personal" for you because it is obvious that it is.

People with REAL combat experience unlike Hoplite. That idiot's idea of a drop zone is a food court at the local mall, he's a "boots at the Panda Express" type of guy.
