Juan has taken the first step on the road to becoming a rabid conservative. In five years from now he'll be laughing/crying at himself for ever having been an obnoxious moonbat.

My kids call Alan Colmes, "The Cryptkeeper". He looks like the talking skeleton form Tales from the Crypt.

I have to admit, I am surprised. Juan has been solid-left forever, and this... unvarnished tome of truth and rationality is just amazing!
What next? Michael Moore doing a film promoting personal responsibility and spiritual growth?

Anyone who regards Juan as anything less than a far left wing nut ought to watch the old Crossfire episodes with him against Pat Buchanan. I've never seen such vitrolic liberal rhetoric.

...black children are born out of wedlock. These children are deprived of a normal upbringing, of a family with the father present in the home. So-called black leaders such as the Rev. Jesse Jackson...
Jesse Jackson is a part of the problem all around. He's fathered a child out of wedlock (and embezzled money to pay child support).

He is learning that you cannot go against the liberal left agenda even if you are a member of the liberal left. We've long questioned why blacks would stay on the Democrats' plantation, but the wider, over-arching question was always, "Why would anyone willingly stay on the oppressive, lock-step, jack-booted thugs' (Democrats') plantation?"
What's your answer to that, Joe LIEberman?

That hasnt happened, however, because his book Enough: The Phony Leaders, Dead-End Movements, and Culture of Failure That Are Undermining Black America and What We Can Do About It, has crossed the boundary of what is and what is not permitted by the high priests of liberal orthodoxy. Indeed it has: The title is WAY too long. That's a crime in the biz.

Not that I would doubt Juan but maybe he just took a look at book sales and wrote for the market. I'm sure he'd like 10% of Ann Coulter's book sales and at least half of them aren't to Soros.

Williams notes: If you attack anybody who is designated by the white media as a black leader you are therefore attacking black America and blaming the victim and youre not seeing the larger picture while you have real problems afoot in terms of educating black kids, in terms of watching black kids born out of wedlock into poverty in this country, in terms of watching what I consider a culture of failure where people dont call to account ... violence and sadistic rap music. If that sentence is an indication of his writing skills, no thanks! His politics is rotten enough for me.

Its not the back burner, but the burner itself that has disappeared. I wonder if Juan is naive enough to be surprised by his reception.
