Hezbollah fired its deadliest rocket barrage Sunday on Israel, killing 12 Israeli reservists and three civilians. That brought the Israeli death toll to 94, including 46 soldiers, the 12 reservists and 36 civilians.

When we hear explosions that happen in our "neighborhood," I can distinguish between incoming and outgoing and usually even tell what it is - mortars, rockets, car bombs, etc. They all have their distinctive sounds, and when they're close up, they all have the ability to get my heart racing pretty good. LOL
While Sadr City is called "on the outskirts," it is not that far from the center of town where the GZ is. I'd say it's about 5 miles away. If that.

Much of DHS is populated with "Head-The-Sand" types who are holdovers from the old INS. These employees saw it (and many still do) as their job to facilitate the entry of aliens INTO the country.
BTW the person I spoke with is ULTRA reliable as a source. This person is NOT playing dumb. The culture of DHS seems to be to keep everything a secret because the public can't be trusted. Plus, in their way of thinking, if you don't have secrets, you don't have power.

Sorry, but one reason I have not posted in 4 months is because I still have not figured out how to create a post.. when it asks for the sourse, url, etc., I'm lost so I usually just put my thoughts or questions in as a reply to somebody else's post.
Hey, haven't been keeping your hours lately. Did you go to the 101st Airborne ceremony? I tried watching a bit of it but never heard what area they were turning over to the Iraqis.

I haven't seen any reports from Hunt, but I did see tape of the Skynews reporter and he too sounded sympathetic to the Lebanese situation. I wonder if they have minders that "suggest" they dish out propaganda demonizing Israel?
