Barbra looked glam in 1970, but sported a low maintenance look recently
Meticulous is her middle name. Or has been until now.
Strolling outside her Los Angeles mansion, Barbra Streisand seemed to have given her stylist the day off. And her hairdresser. And her makeup artist.
Left to her own devices she slung on a dark baggy vest, tight knee-length shorts and completed her look with a frazzled pony tail.
Of course, the 64-year-old singer and actress could well blame the harsh midday light for her uncharacteristically unglamorous appearance.
And after all, she was definitely off-duty. Apart from overseeing a little construction work being carried out on the new home she will share with second husband James Brolin.
While builders shunted bricks and pillars around, the double Oscar winner watched their every move, hands on hips.
Miss Streisand, the star of Funny Girl, Hello Dolly! and The Way We Were, has plenty of construction experience.
During her Millennium Eve concerts in Las Vegas, for which she was paid £6million, she insisted staff remodel her entire hotel suite.
Yikes. Is that Walter Matthau with boobs?
