Jason Lewis Show Live Thread ("Minnesota's Mr. Right" comes home)
KTLK FM 100.3 ^ | 8/7/06 | BTLD

Posted on 08/07/2006 2:29:33 PM PDT by ButThreeLeftsDo

Tonight marks the return of "Minnesota's Mr. Right", Jason Lewis, to the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Listen to Jason from 5-7 CDT on KTLK-FM, 100.3FM.

After almost three years away from "Radio Free Minnesota" he arrives at a critical time for Minnesota politics. I'll wager he'll be tougher on MN Republicans than he'll be on the Dems.

If you aren't in the local listening area, tune in on the web:http://www.ktlkfm.com/main.html

And please join in here to welcome Jason back to Minnesota

who ya throwing 'em at?

It's a pretty target rich environment here in MN.

Where's Mike Hatch's next campaign stop?

J/K, he wouldn't be worth the waste of my precious tomatoes.

...a .38 Special that loads .357 Magnum rounds, for greater stopping power?

My glaring error guesses:

1. That handgun Dick refers to would actually be a .357 that also happens to take .38 sp. rounds, not the other way around.

2. All the blather about statistics showing handgun owners being killed with their own guns, etc., etc., etc. HCI propaganda lies being recycled for the umpteenth time.

Did I win?

Winner!!

38sp's go into 357's, not the other way 'round.

He tried to sound intelligent while writing a column about guns and he failed miserably.

Next thing you know, he'll write an article about how light rail continues to kill at a higher rate than permit holders....

The problem with Hugh is it's AM. I work 2nd shift and AM radio and large electrical motors + a steel roof= no reception.

I no longer get to listen to Brian Lamberts words of wisdom, so sad
/worldclass sarcasm

I like Bob Davis.

The guy's pretty damned funny and is articulate in his politics.

He was at his best a few years ago when he had the 10PM - 12AM shift.

I didn't have the opportunity to listen to Bob much in the 10-12 slot. We have an elementary aged child, too early in the a.m. to stay up in the p.m. Bob admits he's pretty much a night person as you know listening to him.

I get a kick out of his early day, high-octane caffeinated style. I also can identify with his attitude about living in the city. After 20 years, there's a lot I loved, and miss there. There's also a whole lot more I don't miss.

I made sure he heard of FR while he was in Charlotte.

Maybe we'll get a mention. I'm sure he's heard of FR.

I received a reply from Jason after sending our FR thread link:

"Thanks and my best to all at Free Rep!"

Welcome back J, and thanks for posting this 3L, since I can't listen I am happy to be able to read.

Are you sure you don't want to do this every night?

Yeah, He was ok but not as good as Jason.

When I lived in Oregon we had Lars Larson, he's really good and Jason reminded me of him. He was great on local issues.

How about we take turns starting a live thread and give it the same title, "Jason Lewis Show Live Thread" - we could add a ping list to those interested.

I'll start it tonight (Tuesday). I need the practice!

Knock yourself out. I did it last night because it was the first show. I don't have the time right now to get super involved.

Thank you so much and put me on the list please. I will only be able to read the thread the next day for now but I am glad for even that since I can't listen. Jason rocks.

ME: This will my first crack at posting a thread with a ping list - look for it around 4:45 today.

After today, I won't be available to start a thread until next week. Any other takers are welcome to start one Wed-Fri.
