Excerpt from report by Belgrade-based Radio B92 on 4 August
Belgrade, Zagreb, Banja Luka, 4 August: The 11th anniversary of Croatia's military Operation Storm was marked with a commemoration in St Mark's Church and a gathering in Nikola Pasic Square [in central Belgrade] today.
Following the commemoration, a protest walk from St Mark's Church to Nikola Pasic Square was organized by the Association of Families of Missing Persons from Krajina [part of Croatia formerly with Serb majority]. A resolution was read out in Nikola Pasic Square to several hundred Serbs from Croatia and the families of those killed and missing in the Croatian army operation, demanding that "Croatian officials - for the sake of peace, reconciliation and a shared life - reveal the truth about 'Storm' in which genocide against the Serb people was carried out. This should be done".
B92 has acquired a video recording compiled by the Hague prosecution showing the events on 7-8 August 1995. The video shows how members of the "Black Mamba" Croatian paramilitary unit and "Hamza" platoon of the Bosnia-Hercegovina Army settled scores with Serb soldiers but also civilians who were leaving Krajina. The participation of the latter in Operation Storm is less well known. This tape of war crimes was made with an amateur camera and those who taped it are the participants themselves.
The video recording contains a scene of the murder of an ethnic Serb who surrendered and was sitting on the ground with his hands up, the torching of houses of the exiled population from an area extending from Glina to Dvor na Uni and the abuse of elderly persons, refugees from the intercepted column.

Well, I am none of the three categories you mention, but I did think it might be useful to point out to you that THE ONE (ON) who was the catalyst for everything that was done by all 3 sides in the Balkans in the 1990s recently departed this earth for the lower regions (may he slowly roast in he## for all eternity, the G-D Montenegrin allegedly from Pozarevac).....

Before Milosevic, the dismantling of Yugoslavia was being planned and started. It was after the retreat of the Soviet Union and reunification of Germany when the west went gung-ho destroying Yugoslavia at the Serbs' expense most of all. Milosevic only happened to be the leader around that time. Whatever leader was there would be blamed - whether Serbs resisted or didn't they'd be ethnically cleansed and reduced in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo - in fact it was going on in gradually Kosovo in the decades before Milosevic.

What is this statement all about?
Hillary for President......??? we are in deep deep trouble in this possibility. That's another story. However, the instigation initially for the Balkans was us. That is my own country, the U.S. Clinton was a conduit for a long term strategy to bring about the dissolution of Yugoslavia. The main objective as it has always been was the dissolution of the Russian states even more that the break up of the Soviet Union. This is one of the reasons we are supporting the independence of Kosovo. Milosevic responded to the incursion and attrocities committed by the Bosnian Muslims. However, he got stupid and didn't control his paramilitaries as yes..they did murder POW's.....who do you think arrested Milosevic in the first place. You have a split in the Serbian government as evidenced by the assassination of their former president by the Black Hand in almost the same circumstances as the Archduke. Very interesting comparison. It was no mistake that Milo was arrested after Kostunica was out of town.
We stirred up the trouble in the Balkans after the CIA failed to recruit Milosevic in the late 80's. It's a historical fact that the CIA approached Milo when he came to New York to understudy banking. He was trained to be a politican and he returned to Serbia. Then, for whatever reasons (opportunity/influence....) he became a nationalist and turned his back on the CIA. So, they shifted strategy and introduced the former Muslims trainees from Afghanistan to Bosnia. Many of the reasons for our entrance into the Balkans were in fact fabricated. The massacres' at the market, Srebrenica etc..were either fabricated or exaggerated......absolutely. This is documented as I can give you the references. The story is amazing and it seems the world has a memory block about the lies told to justify our intervention into the Balkans.

1. I am NOT a diaspora Serb (WTH that means). I am an AMERICAN. PERIOD.
My opinions are not only based on first-hand research (gee I guess the busloads of purple-people-eaters special police in their ridiculous purple BDUs that I saw assembling on the back streets of Belgrade to protect Slobos inauguration in 97 from the people of Belgrade were just a figment of my imagination, eh), but also on the experiences of immediate family members who lived, and STILL LIVE in Belgrade, most of whom recognized Slobo for what he was FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. One immediate family member, one of the orginal liberators of Belgrade in 1945 resigned his party membership after some 40+ years when Slobo was elected head of the Socialist Party (the renamed commies). That relative spent HIS ENTIRE LIFE building a peaceful Yugoslavia, and though we had our disagreements philosphically over the years I respected him for that. He knew that Slobo had opened the Pandoras box in 1989, and would have part to do with it.
If you are Serb (ie citizen of Serbia) AND still a Slobo apologist you can only fit into one fo three categories (take your pick):
1. Complete and utter MORON and historical ignoramus;
2. A past member of Slobos criminal elite which profited from the war while the people starved and were bombed;
3. A supreme traitor to the Serbian nation
Since I do not know you well enough, I wont hazard a guess, so you will just have to tell us which is the category you most identify with......

Al, in all due respect, what I told you is historical fact. Not a conspiracy at all. The only reason I'm not argumentative is because, I'm aware that you don't know these things. Do a search on CIA + Albania and Hoxha.....Balle Kombetar, for starters. Research Milo with his activities in the late 80's and you will find. Otherwise, I can't blame you as many people aren't aware of these facts. Many others are in a state of denial.
All three is wrong......Slobo was not angel and he was part of the Mafia (Black Hand)...supported by court records and a court case in 2002, that Black Hand exists event today....but, what I wrote is exactly correct. You need to go back and research deeper.....
Milosevic didn't bomb them - NATO did. And I haven't seen any pictures of people starving in Serbia - the starving was Serbs captive in Croat and Muslim camps and grain silos, Muslim/Croat prisons in Sarajevo, Srebrenica, Capljina, Sisak, etc.
Electricity and other utilities were so cheap they were practically free during Milosevic's rule - it was only after he was overthrown that they started jacking up and up the prices on food and utilities.
Show me pictures of starving people in the 1990's Serbia - I always see plenty of fat Balkan people all over the Balkans - especially once they get over 30-35, and especially the women.
By your answer you have identified yourself as being part of group "b" in my multiple choice. n Belgrade, the Capitol, during the snactions brought on by Slobos actions, 70-year old women would get up at 4:00 AM and go wait 5-6 hours HOPING to be able to buy a liter of milk of a loaf of bread....for which the vendors would take hard currency only...seniors woulf often eat bread and water for several days on end because nothing else was available or they could not wait overnight to buy it. Where did I get this information? FROM THE PEOPLE WHO PERSONALLY SPENT SEVERAL YEARS OF DOING IT, THAT IS WHO!!!!!!!!!
I think most of the crew who post on these threads belong to group "b", or they have relatives fatcatting it in Belgrade or perhaps in posh exile in Moscow. Normal people don't endlessly spew rhetoric like that.
