Not really. The first four days the total was moving significantly, but Friday it slowed down. Yesterday they raised about a grand, and today hasn't done much at all. I personally think it's a combination of the weekend (folks are out enjoying themselves), and that after the initial splash and rush of donations by the blogosphere, people aren't spreading the word as quickly.
Yeah Soros tried the same thing in 2004 for Kerry. Maybe they can swing it in a state but it sure did not work nation wide. Most of the people they sign up never bother to show up to vote

Actually, most of us seem to prefer "kvetchional" wisdom.
I'm not getting into a pi$$ing match over this... believe what you want.
We have elections in other months too. Many times, these are for primary elections, or special elections for school, municipal or road bonds. These normally don't have large draws, so the few who DO vote, have the voice of the many who decide to stay at home.
One example here in Austin, Tx. was the smoking ordnance banning smoking (in any public building) a little than a year ago. That drew a small sector of the voters (less than 15 %), and the "EV Whackos" and the PETA supporters showed up in mass. I could care less what the outcome was, but a few had the say over many.
There was one restaurant that had just spent over $250,000 to install a air cleaning system for the smoking section so NO smoke would be mixed with the non smoking areas. The owners of the private business may as well had flushed the $250K down the toilets.
Oh yeah spot on.

Well we can agree this far. NO one thinks it would be a good idea for Iran to be allowed to go Nuclear.
Apparently, before I turned on Fox News Sunday, National security adviser Stephen Hadley made a comment to the effect that only the Lebanon Army can control Hezbollah in Lebanon. The panel brain-trust (God, the quality of that group drops dramatically when Britt Hume is not on the show!) went off on a tangent on that one.
But it seems to me that Mr. Hadley was exactly correct. Nobody else is going to be able to go into and stay in Lebanon forever - the Lebanese have to do that. And if they can't, there will always be some group of militant crazy people who are anxious to kill civilians because of their crazed politics.
So, that leads to, a strong, tolerant, peaceful Lebanon makes for a more peaceful world. And how do we get there? Not from appeasement.
That's even better.
Don't kid yourself. The Left earns much of its money. Conservatives talk a lot, but the Left is far superior at actually getting off their duffs and doing stuff (activism). And at least right now they've raised ten times what we have via these blog resources.

There is now an effort to get POT SMOKING PERMITTED on the Denver ballot this fall.
The left is out of it's mind. We can hardly keep up with their insanities.
