This is strictly vanity. OK, been awhile on eHarmony and still looking for the love of my life. Then I find Rush Limbaugh has signed with them. Guess his fling with Donna Karyn wasn't a match made in heaven or you'd have heard more about it by now. It makes me wonder if he's really looking to get married again. We all know he met Marta online back in the 90s. Will it it be another trip to the altar? Fire away!

The only adivce I can offer anyone who is contemplating such a thing.
I often tell anyone who asks..."My next life I'm gonna be a monk, on a mountaintop....NO Wimmink or Kidz for MILES around. Just me and the animals...grow my own food, brew my own beer...transcribe the scriptures...do a lot of chanting...get to wear a cool tunic...WORKS FOR ME!"
This afternoon was a case in point. Wife and I were at the local dollar store. There was a little kid sunning around and he wouldn't shut up...he was demanding his parent buy him a "battle top" or soenthing like that. Kept babbling on so EVERYONE could hear him...bothering people to reach up and get him one off the shelf...talking about his "collection" that he hadn't started yet but if "whoever was with him" would buy him one then he'd only ned 5 dollars to finish his "collection".
I had two plastic jugs of SAE 30 in my hands...Wife stopped me as I was about to launch one over the shelves into the aisle he was standing in.
The kid _ really his parent ofr not making him stop annoying others - was so irritating I SWEAR I was gonna do it!
My Kidz were ALWAYS angels...(cough, cough)

Rush has always said that he gives new advertisers free "product placement" during the actual show.

I don't see anything wrong with it, it just didn't make sense otherwise either that he would join eHarmony and that he would openly admit it. But this explains it. No harm done.
Shows he's got a good attitude in hope for a better future and the prospects of a potential love.

Not that I really NEED to know (or really CARE), but just curious, anyone got a picture of Marta, or know why they split. I haven't listened to him much for years, but back when I did he seemed head over heels in love with this Marta woman he kept talking about.
He strangely closed his show today by saying, "I'm a major member of the media and don't have to do as many things as everyone else does" (paraphrased).
This was in response to an eHarmony client caller who appraised him of the actual screening process.

I don't know what was funnier -- the woman that wanted to throw her daughter at him, the woman who said she was "safe" or Rush saying "the eHarmony Rules don't apply to me."
Classic radio! And I don't get to listen to him that often so I was pretty happy to catch it :)
Maybe he didn't have to fill out the detailed questionnaire.
That's pretty much what he said.
I went there out of curiousity, but you have to give them all kinds of information, before you get to see the questions.
