Well, that was cathartic!
Yep.
I'm trying to go for the balanced approach today, tonight, tomorrow.
Smiling...
Your humor is inspiring!
We are certainly not having a peaceful summer, are we? From the Middle East to Asia and in between, it's all a hot bed of conflict.
The whole world has gone mad it seems.
I find it interesting that regular folks, i.e., those who do not closely track current topical events, are finally voicing this sentiment.
I'm all for it.
I think we need a poem about AllMyJihad's platform shoes.
We'll probably run across that next week sometime.
Police Investigate Two Suspicious Truck Drivers
PENNSYLVANIA
JEFFERSON COUNTY -- Could two suspicious truck drivers reported to police in Jefferson County have ties to terrorism?
Last night at about 11:30pm someone at the Travel Centers of America Truck Stop noticed something suspicious and reported it to police.
The police report says two unidentified men who appeared to be of Middle Eastern descent were operating a tractor trailer carrying an unknown radioactive material. The person reporting the incident says that the pair gave the travel center false registration information and a false vehicle identification number. The report goes on to say that the pair cut the lock that secured the trailer and entered the cargo area. They later replaced the lock with one that they bought inside the truck stop. The two then left the area immediately and headed west on Interstate 80.
The police are not saying anything more about the incident other than it is being investigated. Highway Patrol stopped the same men in Ohio. No word from them on whether anything suspicious was found.

Updates appreciated.
THANKS Velveeta.
Thanks SlowBoat407.
(P.S. I probably have to cut down on the caffeine, though.)
Yes, it does take a lot for ordinary folk to pay attention these days.
AllMyJihad's platform shoes?
That's a good idea Velveeta.
I wonder if Doug from Upland has a poem
regarding the short little twerp in Iran wearing
those platform shoes.
All I have is a photo of him wearing his rumpled coat.

"The Mahdi in an ill-fitting overcoat"
I'll see if there might be an appropriate song. :)
Okay, the song is done and will be posted shortly.
To Nancy Sinatra's THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKIN', we mock the little tyrant.
"The report goes on to say that the pair cut the lock that secured the trailer and entered the cargo area. They later replaced the lock with one that they bought inside the truck stop."
And what did they leave behind? I hope somebody case the area with a geiger counter and bio/chem detectors.
