Migrants 'ruining lives'

A MASSIVE rise in immigration is wrecking the quality of life in Britain, a study by MPs warned yesterday.

 

Soaring house prices, water shortages, gridlocked roads and over-stretched public services are all linked to the population explosion.

The influx is also blamed for family strife as couples split under pressure of coping with higher housing costs.

And things are set to get worse, with a 7.2million growth in population predicted over 30 years — mostly from immigration.

Tory MP Julian Brazier, of the Cornerstone group of MPs, challenges party leader David Cameron to back his “quality of life” campaign with a tough immigration policy.

Mr Brazier says: “Overcrowding is a key cause of many factors which are destroying quality of life.”

It comes a day after leaked government papers said schools, hospitals and housing face disaster from immigration pressures.

You can pick out an older American by the old vehicle.He/she pays the taxes others don't pay and it was quite evident any new truck gets driven back home and resold.Insurance premiums go up for everyone but heck.

We see the same pattern all over where countries that provide government subsidies for poor immigrants (legal or not.) The local hospitals in those areas tends to shut down after so many years of providing free services and failing to make the bottom line. Generally the burden is shifted to the rest of the system reducing quality of services to everyone. Great Britain is just a highly focused example of what's happening here in the US and probably Canada, although we don't hear their perspective on it as much.

We won't even discuss the subject of personal hygiene. Suffice to say the impact on QOL is tremendous.

We just heard from friends that in Salinas, CA a major hospital was closing do to lack of funds from having to provide free services to so many illegals. Further, 3 libraries have closed and the city is threatening to cut back on police and fire services because of lack of money.

How can that be? Immigrants are the future. Immigrants are the backbone of the U.S. Immigrants are hard-working and pay their bills. Immigrants bring diversity. Immigrants are....

You can draw a parallel to this particular news article/report, but ultimately it is really apples and oranges. The Mexican influx is not about global domination, it is more about a mass exodus of people fleeing dying countries.

In the simplest terms, Pedro wants to mow my lawn and Achmed wants to kill me. A Danish news report that appeared on this site over the weekend had a quote from a young Muslim thug who said that his definition of POWER was to have a native Dane lie down on the ground and "kiss my feet". The Hispanic people I've dealt with think that power is a big house, happy kids, and a very expensive car. Huge difference IMHO.

The vast majority of the immigrants which The Sun is talking about here are not Muslim. They are Poles, Lithuanians and Czechs. My own belief is that the import of Christian European stock into the poorer areas of the inner cities can only be a good thing.
