The wife and father of kidnapped Israeli soldier Ehud Goldwasser, Karnit, holding a wedding photograph, and Shlomo Goldwasser arrive at Heathrow Airport in London, Monday July 31, 2006. Hezbollah kidnapped two Israeli soldiers on July 12, triggering an Israeli offensive against Lebanon that has killed hundreds of people, mostly civilians.
Perhaps his security clearance came through. I certainly hope it's not his health.
Frankly, the only problem I have with them is that they are cheaply made and poorly produced, which makes their frequent repetition annoying. The cause is not the issue, though I would like to know if the organization soliciting the funds is legit. Anyone familiar?
Very interesting, Peach. I had the same reaction and then thought he's probably just tired.
Israeli's have been preparing the ground for this troop drop we just mentioned.
IAF hits 5 Hizbullah positions in eastern Lebanon (Baalbek)
Israeli warplanes late Tuesday attacked at least five suspected Hizbullah positions near Baalbek in eastern Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, three hours before the official end of a two-day pause in the air war. Witnesses said fighter jets and helicopters were still above Baalbek. There was no information immediately available on what was hit or if there were casualties.
The ancient city of Baalbek, a major Hizbullah stronghold, repeatedly has been pounded by Israeli fighter jets since the fighting began 21 days ago. (AP)

I have a map that shows Soloman's empire stretching to the Euphrates; Phoenicia occupied the coastal regions of Lebanon.
GMTA. I wasn't able to sit down and focus on the press conf- but I did listen and watch some. He seemed..burdened? Something..could be just tired though. Prayers for him.
There was a warning issued today in England (according to a post here this a.m.) that a terror attack is expected there at any time. Supposedly the first time the authorities havehave issued this kind of warning.

Thanks for the link.
Any links to that?
If Bent Jbail is Hizbullah capital South, then Ballebek is Hizbullah capital NorthEast (the other "center of gravity" being south Beirut). I hope they dropped a bunch of air borne in there, i wouldn't want to be stranded in the Bekka if I was an Israeli
I watched Tony Snow during his WH press briefing and although he might be merely tired, he seemed worried about something. I watch him frequently and he's very good at maintaining eye contact and he didn't do that today.
It's funny that you brought this up..I watched too and noticed the same thing....in fact, it worried me....he seemed distracted...
Just covering all the possibilities. Olmert's twinked out before, when I SEE something happening, it's happening. Till then it's just speculation and wishful thinking.
Choppers near Baalbeck per CNN, eh?
When one more source confirms, (I know I know, "THREE times is enemy action" but I like to lean forward on two), I will start taking action on direction of drive, or activity.
Step right up folks and place your bets, east, west, north, or south?
Classic Israel under Jeroboam II and Uzziah did stretch to Lebo-harnath north of Damascus.
Big Hizballah stronghold..Bekaa valley. It's way into the country and not far from Syria.
And- as an aside- one of the areas where potentially the WMD's went..
lol!
CNN just reported very heavy helicopter presence in Baalbek area. So it seems like a large use of troops and firepower going into this area.
Certain government agencies have long felt it a major red flag (no pun intended) when job candidates were in any way associated with anything in any way relating to anything even remotely tied to homosexuality. Said agencies were of the opinion that there existed a "secret global network of homosexuals committed to the destruction of the US." This mindset has changed at such agencies in recent years--well, at least "officially."
It would appear that to at least some degree, these suspicions were well-founded. Not so much a homosexual issue as it was a "destruction of the US issue," the former being the vehicle and the latter the destination.
= = = =
That's a new one on me . . . unless I've forgotten that one. Don't often hear new ones.
Wouldn't doubt it, actually. Many believe the AntiChrist is a homosexual. I forget the Scripture leading them to that conclusion.
I will throw in my two cents. I think he has to super careful what he says re the ME. I noticed he was referring to his notes more than usual to get the dialog correct. As we know, just one wrong word and all hell could break out. Tired? Probably. Careful? Absolutely.
